The candidate will also be responsible for publishing manuscripts associated with its main projects, presenting new results in international conferences, actively pursuing funding opportunities, and assisting the PI in generating preliminary results for federal grants.</p><p>30% SERVICE, TRAINING &amp; MENTORSHIP: The candidate is expected to help with the onboarding, mentoring of graduate and undergraduate students.</p><p>Minimum Qualifications:</p><p>PhD in evolutionary biology, computer science, bioinformatics, computational biology or a closely related field.</p><p>Specific experience of Strong computational skills. Fluency with the command line and scripting languages (R, Python, Julia). Some experience with version control tools (git), IDEs and lower-level languages (Java, C&#43;&#43;, C).</p><p>Preferred experience with a Publication record that reflects career stage in the field of (computational) evolutionary biology.
