 <p>We’re looking for a Senior Java Engineer (Java/Spring) to join our product engineering team and develop and maintain highly available web services.</p>
 <p>&nbsp;<strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>
 <ul>
  <li>Provide development support for platform services, including deployment-related work</li>
  <li>Build and maintain Java 17+; services using Spring Boot 3.x</li>
  <li>Contribute to services hosted on AWS and GCP</li>
  <li>Work with Postgres and Spanner as part of service development and integrations</li>
  <li>Help design and implement secure, internet-facing APIs and services</li>
  <li>Determine how applications, legacy systems, databases, web interfaces, and hardware logic integrate to meet new requirements</li>
  <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business requirements</li>
  <li>Lead projects and assist in scheduling and coordinating project deliverables</li>
  <li>Provide senior-level support in configuration, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle</li>
  <li>Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the team and drive key projects</li>
  <li>As appropriate, liaise with outside vendors to coordinate code development and acceptance</li>
  <li>Lead in program design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation; instruct, direct, and validate other developers’ work; mentor and guide junior team members</li>
  <li>Work with developers, testers, and deployment teams to create software deployment/hosting plans</li>
 </ul>
 <p><strong>What You’ll Need:</strong></p>
 <ul>
  <li>6+; years of recent Java (or JVM language) development; Java 17+; with Spring Boot 3.x experience strongly preferred.</li>
  <li>AWS experience; GCP experience/knowledge preferred.</li>
  <li>Database experience: Postgres, Spanner preferred, Oracle and/or Informix preferred</li>
  <li>Experience designing and implementing secure, internet-facing APIs and web services</li>
  <li>Experience implementing and managing CI/CD (e.g., Bitbucket, Harness, Jenkins)</li>
  <li>Containerization experience (Kubernetes, ECS) and cloud-based hosting</li>
  <li>Familiarity with GraphQL preferred</li>
  <li>Ability to work in large, complex codebases with multiple integrations and dependencies</li>
  <li>Strong understanding of SDLC; excellent analytical/problem-solving and communication skills</li>
  <li>Self-starter who can manage shifting priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively with cross-functional teams</li>
  <li>Exposure to Dynatrace, Apigee, or Clojure preferred</li>
  <li>Experience with Agile/Scrum; track record of delivering high-quality features on time</li>
  <li>Exposure to AI-assisted development tools or AI/ML concepts preferred</li>
  <li>Experience with Jira or Confluence preferred</li>

<p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits:</strong></p>
<p>The salary range for this role is $78,300.00 - $145,300.00 and is based on experience and qualifications.</p>
<p>Certain roles are eligible for annual bonus and may include equity. These awards are allocated based on company and individual performance.</p>

Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.</p>
