The Software/Application Developer is responsible for design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable web applications that support clinical workflows, patient engagement, and interoperability with electronic health record (EHR) systems. You will work across a hybrid tech stack and play a key role in modernizing our platform with cloud deployment while optimizing both code and delivery pipelines.

&bull; Design and build full-stack web applications using Java and .NET MVC frameworks. 
&bull; Integrate web applications with healthcare APIs and services (e.g., FHIR, HL7, EHR systems). 
&bull; Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, Business Analysts and Clinical informatics experts. 
&bull; Participate in architecture and design sessions, particularly around interoperability and system integrations. 
&bull; Ensure performance, security and data integrity in back-end processes. 
&bull; Collaborate on CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps, etc. 
&bull; Automate infrastructure and application deployment in cloud environment (Azure). 
&bull; Contribute to cross-platform integrations between .NET and Java services. 
&bull; Maintain and modernize legacy systems while contributing to new applications in microservices environment

Overview:
To develop and maintain HIPAA compliant ANSI X12 transactions and support in EDI and other application development at PHC. Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and implementing each of the federal and/or state mandated transactions and other EDI applications using tools & technologies such as Edifecs’s Smart Trading including Spec Builder, Enterprise Application Manager, XEngine and Transaction Manager and scheduling systems such as Active Batch and database technologies such as MS SQL Server & Oracle and MS .Net/SSIS/SSRS and Web Services.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Develop HIPAA compliant ANSI X12 EDI transactions and support EDI application development using an established SDLC methodology</li><li>Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages like C# and Java</li><li>Experience in managing EDIFECS installation, usage and overall working conditions</li><li>Create/update maps, guidelines and profiles using Edifecs tools such as SpecBuilder, Map Builder, XEngine and EAM as per the requirements.
