About the Role:
We are seeking a Shopify Developer to build, optimize, and scale our Shopify Plus storefront. This role is critical in delivering high-performance eCommerce experiences, supporting subscription models, and enabling rapid experimentation across marketing, merchandising, and IT.
 
You’ll work across front-end development, back-end integrations, and performance optimization within a complex, enterprise-level Shopify ecosystem.
 
As an organization, we are new to Shopify and recently launched the platform for Swanson Health Products, making this an exciting opportunity to help shape and evolve our eCommerce foundation from the ground up.
 
What You'll Do: 
Shopify Development & Customization
<ul>
<li>Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript</li>
<li>Build reusable components to support high-SKU catalog navigation and merchandising</li>
<li>Customize Shopify Plus features, including checkout extensibility, scripts, and functions</li>
</ul>
Integrations & Systems Architecture
<ul>
<li>Integrate Shopify with key business systems, including:
<ul>
<li>ERP (Mozart), CMS, and subscription platforms (e.g., Ordergroove)</li>
<li>Search and personalization tools (e.g., Constructor)</li>
<li>Marketing platforms (e.g., Cordial, reviews, loyalty programs)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Work with APIs to ensure seamless data flow across systems</li>
</ul>
Performance & Optimization
<ul>
<li>Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall conversion performance</li>
<li>Implement A/B testing and personalization strategies</li>
<li>Improve checkout performance and mobile user experience</li>
</ul>
Subscription & Customer Experience
<ul>
<li>Enhance subscription journeys and customer account management experiences</li>
<li>Support personalized product recommendations and promotional strategies</li>
<li>Build scalable features that drive retention and conversion growth</li>
</ul>
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
<ul>
<li>Debug and resolve production issues in a timely manner</li>
<li>Ensure site uptime, reliability, and scalability</li>
<li>Continuously improve site architecture, performance, and code quality</li>

Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>3+ years of experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in:
<ul>
<li>Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with:
<ul>
<li>Shopify APIs, webhooks, and app integrations</li>
<li>Version control systems (e.g., GitHub)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Solid understanding of eCommerce fundamentals, including:
<ul>
<li>Checkout flows, subscriptions, merchandising, and SEO</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Experience integrating third-party services and APIs</li>
</ul>
 
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience with subscription-based commerce platforms (e.g., Ordergroove or similar)</li>
<li>Familiarity with headless commerce architectures, including Shopify Hydrogen</li>
<li>Experience with personalization and search platforms (e.g., Constructor)</li>
<li>Knowledge of analytics and experimentation tools, including GA4, Amplitude, and A/B testing platforms</li>
<li>Exposure to enterprise-level eCommerce environments, including large product catalogs and global scale operations</li>

The Opportunity
Ulteig is looking for a talented software engineer who is seeking to solve exciting and challenging technical problems leveraging the Azure stack of services. This role will join the Renewables – Electrical team and develop software to optimize Ulteig’s engineering work and processes. This role will be collaborating with engineers and other software developers innovating Azure SaaS solutions for Ulteig. This role reports directly to the Technical Leader and resides within the company’s Renewables Electrical Engineering Department.
 
What You’ll Do

<li>Develop code to enable SaaS Azure based web application.</li>
<li>Contribute to the architecture, design, implementation of new solutions to enhance engineering workflows.</li>
<li>Partner with other teams to understand features and requirements.</li>
<li>Empowered to contribute to the end-to-end solutions inclusive of architecture, design, code, test, and telemetry accountabilities. </li>
<li>Develop and implement new solutions and/or features within existing tools.</li>
<li>Contribute to a highly collaborative team atmosphere.</li>
<li>Contribute to the continued forward evolution of an iterative delivery team.</li>
<li>Partner with engineering and cross‑functional teams to understand workflow needs, constraints, and feature requirements.</li>

What We Expect from You 
<ul>
<li>4-year Computer Science or comparable degree.</li>
<ul>
<li>Electrical Engineering knowledge, preferred</li>
</ul>
<li>1-5 years’ experience building and shipping software</li>
<li>Experience developing software solutions that support and enable multidisciplinary engineering teams, with an understanding of engineering workflows, tools, and end‑user needs.</li>
<li>Familiarity with working in an engineering environment (electrical design and studies, renewables, or similar) preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience within C#, JavaScript/Typescript, React/Vue, TSQL, Python or equivalent.</li>
<li>Ability to operate with a growth mindset within a highly engaged team.</li>
<li>Problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.</li>
<li>Development experience within Azure platform beneficial.</li>
<li>Previous DevOps experience is preferred but not required</li>
<li>Experience working within an iterative development environment</li>
</ul>
