		<div><p><strong>BTS is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer</strong> to join our Coast Guard Cloud Integration Team! If you're passionate about cutting-edge cloud technologies and enjoy. We�re looking for someone who will be establish the policy, strategy and best practices to onramp the Coast Guards cloud infrastructure.</p>

<p><strong>Security Clearance: TOP SECRET</strong></p>

<p><strong>Location: </strong>90% Remote with some travel to San Diego, CA, Key West, FL and WV</p>

<p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li><strong>Design & Develop</strong>: Lead software design and development architecture, creating innovative solutions for high-performance services hosted on massive compute clusters and AWS Cloud Infrastructure.</li>
	<li><strong>Plan and Stand-up:</strong> Stand-up IL4 Landing Zone w/Immortal Jellyfish, Baseline platform, automation deployment, repeatable templates</li>
	<li><strong>Optimize & Enhance</strong>: Lead strategy of testing, performance tuning, and optimization for cloud-native applications, ensuring high availability and efficiency.</li>
	<li><strong>Collaborate</strong>: Work closely with a dynamic, cross-functional team to innovate and launch cloud-based services.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Skills:</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li><strong>AWS Expertise</strong>: Strong experience designing and developing AWS Cloud Architecture. Experience with AWS services related to compute, storage, and event-driven applications</li>
	<li><strong>Scripting</strong>: Strong background in object-oriented or functional programming with Java, JavaScript, C/C++, Python, or Rust</li>
	<li><strong>Cloud Tools Mastery</strong>: Deep proficiency in development and designing AWS SDKs/APIs and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.</li>
	<li><strong>Agile Mindset</strong>: A strong believer in agile development methodologies.</li>
	<li><strong>Source Control</strong>: Familiarity with Git, Maven, Jira, and other source code management tools.</li>
	<li><strong>Containerization</strong>: understanding of containers, build systems, and infrastructure automation with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes</li>
	<li>Perform high-level requirements analysis, software development, integration, and testing with autonomy.</li>
	<li>Lead the design and execution of software solutions on large-scale compute clusters and AWS Cloud Infrastructure.</li>
	<li>Guide junior team members and help refine processes to ensure project success.</li>
	<li>Evaluate technical needs, create task breakdowns, and oversee the design for technical accuracy and completeness</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>

<p><strong>Position Requirements:</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Twelve (12) years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution.</li>
	<li>A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is required. NOTE: A degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar degree will be considered as a technical field. Experience, certifications and demonstrated skills can substituted for a degree.</li>
	<li>A Master's degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experience, bringing down the minimal requirement to 10 total years. A PHD degree in a Technical Field will be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience, bringing down the minimum requirement to 8 total years.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Pay Range: $230,000 to $260,000 full Salary range lowest to highest across locations</strong><br />
