Our purpose is simple - to deliver a sustainable future for the world through science and collaboration. If you’re looking for a challenge and meaningful role, you’re in the right place.About you and this roleDow has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Developer in Advance Microsoft Technologies located in Midland, MI, and Houston, TX.  As a Senior Developer, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise software solutions using Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, and AI technologies, mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive Agile project delivery across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain modern web and mobile applications using Angular and .NET Core frameworks.</li><li>Modernize and upgrade legacy Angular and .NET applications to the latest versions for improved security, performance, and compatibility.</li><li>Architect, design, and implement Power Platform solutions (Power Apps – Canvas &amp; Model-Driven, Power Automate) to optimize and automate business processes.</li><li>Develop secure, high-performing REST APIs and integrate them seamlessly with front-end applications.</li><li>Design and build scalable solutions by leveraging Azure services (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps) and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.</li><li>Apply a product-centric approach to create solutions that are scalable, reusable, and adaptable for multiple business units, external customers, and multi-tenant environments.</li><li>Design and implement monitoring solutions to track KPIs, improve user experience, and reduce application maintenance costs.</li><li>Collaborate with Dow enterprise architects to define architecture strategies and ensure adherence to development and architecture standards.</li><li>Conduct code reviews to enforce security, coding standards, and architectural compliance.</li><li>Continuously adopt and promote Microsoft best practices, libraries, and emerging technologies to improve development efficiency and quality.</li><li>Integrate AI capabilities (Azure AI, Cognitive Services, OpenAI APIs) to deliver intelligent automation and enhanced user experiences.</li><li>Work closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure timely delivery across global teams.</li><li>Participate in Agile ceremonies, manage sprints and backlogs, and contribute to all phases of the SDLC—requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.</li><li>Provide production and testing support, troubleshooting issues, resolve defects, and perform migration activities to ensure smooth releases and system stability.</li><li>Prepare and maintain technical design and architecture documentation to ensure scalability and maintainability.</li><li>Develop test automation strategies and scripts to improve quality and efficiency.</li><li>Ensure application security, scalability, and performance through compliance with Dow development standards.</li></ul><h3></h3><h3>Technical Skills</h3><ul><li>Front-End: Angular (Latest versions), Java/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.</li><li>Back-End: C#, .NET Core, RESTful API development. familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and Python is a plus.</li><li>Power Platform: Power Apps (Canvas &amp; Model-Driven), Power Automate, Dataverse, AI Builder.</li><li>Cloud: Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL.</li><li>DevOps: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Database: SQL Server, Azure SQL. Cosmos DB</li><li>Security: OAuth, RBAC, data governance.</li><li>Proficiency in using GitHub Copilot for accelerating development &amp; various activities and deliverables of SDLC</li><li>AI &amp; Automation: Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI APIs, LLM integration, AI Builder for Power Platform.</li></ul><h3></h3><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>A minimum of a Bachelor&#39;s degree, or 5 years relevant experience, or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking OR 5 years of relevant experienced in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Agile project management and SDLC leadership.</li><li>A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.</li><li>Microsoft certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Power Platform Developer Associate) are a plus.</li></ul><h3></h3>Your Skills<ul><li>Full-Stack Application Development (Angular &amp; .NET Core): Designs, builds, and modernizes secure, scalable web and mobile applications using Angular (latest versions), TypeScript/JavaScript, and C#/.NET Core, including development and integration of high-performing RESTful APIs across the full SDLC.</li><li>Azure Cloud Architecture &amp; Engineering: Architects and delivers enterprise-grade solutions leveraging Azure App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure SQL, emphasizing scalability, reliability, security, and support for reusable and multi-tenant application patterns.</li><li>Power Platform Solution Design &amp; Automation: Designs and implements Power Platform solutions using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Dataverse to translate business requirements into automated, user-centered, and maintainable business process solutions.</li><li>DevOps, CI/CD, and Quality Engineering: Implements and manages CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions; enforces coding standards through reviews, improves quality with test automation, and ensures stable releases through monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.</li><li>AI Integration &amp; Intelligent Automation: Integrates AI capabilities using Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI APIs, LLMs, and AI Builder to enhance user experiences and automate workflows while maintaining enterprise standards for security, governance, and maintainability.</li></ul>Note: relocation assistance is not provided with this req.
