This role designs, develops, deploys, and maintains scalable automated solutions to ensure the reliability, performance, security, accessibility, and resilience of enterprise applications, system integrations, and automated business workflows.The SDET combines strong programming expertise with modern engineering practices to build automation frameworks, validate APIs and distributed systems, support CI/CD and cloud-native execution models, and test AI-enabled systems and process automation platforms. Working closely with Development, DevOps, Architecture, Product teams, QA Leads, and other stakeholders, the SDET improves system testability, drives shift-left and continuous testing practices, and embeds automation throughout the software delivery lifecycle while maintaining enterprise quality and governance standards.JOB DUTIES<ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain automated solutions for functional, regression, integration, performance, security, accessibility, and end-to-end testing</li><li>Build and enhance automation frameworks for APIs, user interfaces, backend services, and enterprise workflows using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Rest Assured, Postman, Tosca, or similar technologies</li><li>Write clean, scalable, and maintainable automation code using Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar languages</li><li>Perform validation across APIs, distributed systems, databases (relational and NoSQL), and system integrations</li><li>Define and support test data management practices to improve automation reliability and coverage</li><li>Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines with quality gates, including functional, performance, and security SpaceX is looking for a Video &amp; Voice Systems Engineer that will design, install, maintain, and fully own the video and voice intercom systems for our launch broadcast facilities. You’ll be tightly integrated with our Emmy award-winning webcast team on the launch and event broadcasts for the company as well as the engineering teams that design our rockets, spacecraft, and launch sites.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Broadcast engineer-in-charge for launch webcasts and ability to operate as technical director, A1, A2 and/or production manager</li>
<li>Design and deploy broadcast facilities and large-scale video and audio networks</li>
<li>Troubleshoot and resolve video and voice network related issues</li>
<li>Closely collaborate with stakeholders and engineers across programs to create highly operable, scalable, and maintainable solutions</li>
<li>Monitor health of video and voice equipment and network health</li>
<li>Continuously create and update documentation and inventory management</li>
<li>Drive engineering support for company events and all-hands meetings</li>
</ul>
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, electrical engineering, or other STEM discipline and 2+ years professional video, voice and/or networking engineering experience OR 5+ years broadcast video, voice and/or networking engineering experience without a degree</li>
</ul>
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
<ul>
<li>Experience with video equipment such as video routers, IP video, cameras, and broadcast switchers</li>
<li>Experience with audio equipment such as intercom matrices, broadcast audio consoles, and wireless two-way radios</li>
<li>Understanding and experience with broadcast networking transports such as SMPTE ST 2110, AES67, Dante, SRT, RTMP, MPEG-TS, RTSP, SIP, and WebRTC</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of OSI model and network standards</li>
<li>Hands on networking experience with the following:
