Responsibilities:
<ul><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead design and development of front-end web architectures driven by middleware to retrieve information from back-end sources.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead development of software in our technology stack, which is constantly evolving but currently includes JavaScript, GraphQL, Jest, Kafka, MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js), NestJS, Redis, SQL, and TypeScript.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Help grow the development practice via coding, code reviewing, acting as a technical bridge on the team, as well as being able to dig into some of the more complex areas of the system when knowledge is lacking in house.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead team in test-driven development and proper unit testing. </span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Maintain knowledge of security best practices in web development to safeguard customer and company data.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Scour and evaluate new technologies and contribute to the overall product roadmaps of both internal and external 3rd party systems.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Design performance optimized and scalable web applications.</span></li><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Utilize agile methodologies and scrum planning tools like Jira to help the development team meet its sprint goal.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Other duties as assigned by management.
