Summary
The Web Development Manager will serve The Daily Grace Co. as the senior technical leader responsible for overseeing the development, performance, and long-term architecture of our ecommerce ecosystem. This role blends hands-on engineering with strategic leadership—guiding developers, managing complex digital systems, and ensuring that every online experience reflects excellence, stability, and gospel-centered stewardship.
This position combines technical expertise with people leadership. The Web Development Manager will architect scalable solutions, mentor the development team, and collaborate across departments to ensure The Daily Grace Co. delivers a seamless, fast, and engaging experience for customers across all digital platforms.
Job Qualifications
Required
<ul>
<li>6+ years of professional web development experience.</li>
<li>3+ years of experience managing or leading developers.</li>
<li>Expert proficiency in Shopify (Liquid, Themes, Storefront API, Admin API).</li>
<li>Strong understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), React/Vue, JSON, REST APIs.</li>
<li>Experience with back-end frameworks such as Node.js, PHP, or similar.</li>
<li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and modern deployment practices.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of performance optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and responsive design.</li>
<li>Experience integrating third-party APIs and ecommerce platforms.</li>
