JOB SUMMARY
The Web Developer is responsible for designing, coding, and maintaining websites and web applications to meet business requirements. This role ensures that web platforms are visually appealing, user-friendly, secure, and optimized for performance. The Web Developer works closely with designers, content creators, and other IT team members to deliver high-quality web solutions that align with organizational goals.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned.

<li> Develop, test, and deploy responsive websites and web applications using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue).</li>
<li> Maintain and update existing websites and applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and functionality.</li>
<li> Collaborate with designers, content creators, and stakeholders to implement user-friendly web interfaces.</li>
<li> Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and search engine performance (SEO).</li>
<li> Troubleshoot and resolve website and application issues.</li>
<li> Implement and maintain integrations with third-party systems, APIs, and databases.</li>
<li> Ensure compliance with web standards, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and security best practices.</li>
<li> Document code, processes, and workflows to support knowledge sharing and team continuity.</li>
<li> Stay up to date with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and best practices.</li>

Sr React Software Engineer
 
Branding Brand is searching for a Sr Software Engineer to help create mobile apps and sites for an international portfolio of high-profile brands in retail and hospitality. Ideal candidates are skilled in React and have API / web server experience. TypeScript, Native iOS, or Android knowledge, and Node / AWS experience is a plus. This is a hybrid position where you will be required to go into an office in Woonsocket, RI a few days a week and work from home the other days. 
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Work with senior developers and architects to produce world-class mobile e-commerce experiences used by over 10 million visitors a day</li>
<li>Contribute to the evolution of our technology</li>
<li>Take web and app projects from mock-ups to completion</li>
<li>Develop mobile frameworks and toolkits</li>
<li>Develop enterprise React applications</li>
<li>Work closely with Designers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and Account/Project Managers to communicate status of projects</li>
<li>Work with bug tracking/project management software suites, including Jira</li>
<li>Implement secure coding best practices and participate in ongoing security training and awareness</li>
<li>Learn our proprietary platform technology for mobile websites and apps, using the latest functionality in mobile innovations</li>

Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Strong background in web languages and technologies: React.js, React Native, Javascript, TypeScript, Node.js</li>
<li>Understanding of functional programming</li>
<li>Ability to transform design mockups and wireframes into functional components</li>
<li>Strong skill-set in creative problem solving</li>
<li>Background in iOS and Android is a definite plus, but not required</li>
<li>A solid foundation in Computer Science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design</li>
<li>Prior experience in test-driven development is a plus</li>
<li>Prior experience in retail or hospitality technology is a plus</li>
<li>Prior experience in mobile e-commerce is a plus</li>
<li>Experience with Git source control</li>
<li>Experience with bash/command line is a plus</li>
