Overview:
This position is responsible for research, development, and application of software as it relates to new and existing products. As required, this position may encompass the following steps of the product life cycle: specification, design, implementation, testing, release, and manufacturing support.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
<ul style="margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0px;"><li>Ability to develop mobile applications for iOS and Android with AngularJS, Cordova, Gulp, and Ionic Familiarity with Objective-C, Swift, or JAVA a plus</li><li>Ability to analyze requirements and problems, and quickly identify solutions</li><li>Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills</li><li>Excellent documentation skills</li><li>Must possess a high attention to detail</li><li>Cloud Services Knowledge and use of JavaScript</li><li>Proficient in developing with Node.js</li><li>Ability to develop web service APIs</li></ul>

Education & Experience:
<ul style="margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0px;"><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Computer Science or other Engineering related field</li><li style="background: white; margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; font-size: 10pt; font-family: Arial, sans-serif;">Prior internship or co-op experience preferred; experience in Embedded hardware & software engineering; design & development of new products</li><li>Experience with Agile Software Development Methodologies</li><li>Experience with Test Driven Development methodologies</li><li>Experience with a source control system, preferably GIT Skills Ability to invent new ways of approaching problems and working with a team to develop innovative solutions</li><li>Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and MongoDB a plus</li><li>Familiarity with Node.js Web Applications Ability to develop applications with cross-browser compatibly and responsive site design with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS Familiarity with Node.js</li><li>Familiarity with mobile application development a plus</li><li>Knowledge and use of JavaScript</li></ul>

Associate Engineer, Software

Develop software, collaborate with product teams, write code, test, document, and support cloud/mobile/web applications.

The Automation Specialist's scope of work will include design, development, and deployment of application solutions ranging from custom developed internal tools to fully deployed client on-premises and cloud solutions.
 
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
<ul>
<li>1-3+ years’ experience in the implementation and programming of SCADA application.</li>
<li>Experience with ICONICS Genesis 64 is a plus.</li>
<li>Various other SCADA platform experience such as Wonderware System Platform / Ignition / ClearSCADA is a plus.</li>
<li>Participates in designing, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting software.</li>
<li>Implement tools and techniques to increase programming efficiency and quality.</li>
<li>Willingness to follow through with an issue until resolved.</li>
</ul>
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
 
<ul>
<li>Solid understanding of programming fundamentals in SCADA - ICONICS Genesis 64 Software suite: BridgeWorX, ReportWorX, AnalytiX.</li>
<li>Front end skills with proficiency in HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX.</li>
<li>Back-end skills with proficiency in Node.js, Python, or .NET.</li>
<li>Experience building modern application stacks is a plus.</li>
<li>Developing software in a variety of modern languages (e.g. JavaScript/React, Python, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, .NET).</li>
<li>Experience with common Amazon Web Services (AWS) functionality (Lambda, Fargate, DynamoDB, Timestream, S3, SNS, API Gateway) and/or Azure cloud services functionality is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with responsive web design and programming, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with one or more of the following or similar technologies: NodeJS, Python, AngularJS, .NET framework is a plus.</li>
<li>Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field is required.</li>
