Principal Software Engineer – GP Enterprise Solutions 
As a Principal Software Engineer at GPES, you’ll manage the end-to-end lifecycle of a development projects, from local development and version control through to both frontend and backend development.

What You’ll Do:
<ul>
 <li>Participate in the full software development lifecycle; technical analysis and design, development, and unit test phases.</li>
 <li>Ability to identify, deliver and drive improvements and innovations within the development area.</li>
 <li>Compile and review estimates around all technical aspects of a solution</li>
 <li>Ensure all aspects of good design and construction are delivered</li>
 <li>Working on backend node.js APIs, react web UIs, and docker-based infrastructure</li>
 <li>Manage AWS infrastructure including but not limited to databases, servers and serverless functions</li>
 <li>Participate in database schema design changes</li>
 <li>Work with CTO and CGO to help guide the product forward</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For:
<ul>
 <li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.</li>
 <li>10+ years of software development experience.</li>
 <li>3+ years of experience managing.</li>
 <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).</li>
 <li>Hands-on experience with ReactJS, NodeJS, Typescript, JavaScript.</li>
 <li>Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS).</li>
 <li>Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (Code pipeline code build and/or GitHub Actions).</li>
 <li>Experience working with Infrastructure as code (CDK).</li>
 <li>Deep understanding of ORM and experience with MySql DB.</li>
 <li>Ability to establish development standards and ensure code quality and security.</li>
 <li>Familiarity with security compliance standards (SOC2).</li>
 <li>Familiarity with observability tools (New Relic).</li>
 <li>Experience working in an agile development environment.</li>
