You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain applications using modern DevOps practices and tools.How You&#39;ll Contribute:<ul><li>Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications with a focus on cloud-native architecture on AWS.</li><li>Cloud Infrastructure: Build and manage AWS services including ECS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and other AWS offerings.</li><li>Containerization: Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker on AWS ECS; support VM-based applications when required.</li><li>Infrastructure as Code: Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring repeatable, version-controlled deployments.</li><li>CI/CD Pipelines: Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for automated builds, testing, and deployments.</li><li>Package Management: Configure and manage artifact repositories using CloudSmith for secure package distribution.</li><li>Identity &amp; Access Management: Integrate and manage authentication/authorization using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) as the Identity Provider.</li><li>Security &amp; Networking: Implement security best practices; collaborate on ZScaler configurations for secure network access.</li><li>Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, Platform Engineers, and other developers to deliver robust solutions.</li><li>Optimization: Optimize applications for reliability, and security.</li><li>Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues across the full stack, from frontend to cloud infrastructure.</li><li>Continuous Learning: Stay current with advancements in AWS services, cloud development, and DevOps practices.</li></ul><div></div>What We&#39;re Looking For:<ul><li>Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.</li><li>Backend Development: Experience with backend frameworks (NestJS, Node.js, or similar).</li><li>Frontend Development: Proficiency in building modern, responsive applications (Angular, React, or similar).</li><li>AWS Cloud: Extensive experience with AWS services including:<ul><li>ECS (Elastic Container Service) for container orchestration</li><li>EC2 for VM-based applications</li><li>S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and other core services</li></ul></li><li>Containerization: Solid experience with Docker and container-based deployments.</li><li>Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure.</li><li>CI/CD: Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab CI/CD.</li><li>Version Control: Strong proficiency with Git and GitLab workflows.</li><li>Identity Management: Experience integrating applications with enterprise Identity Providers, specifically Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).</li><li>Package Management: Familiarity with artifact repositories such as CloudSmith.</li><li>APIs &amp; Data: Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).</li><li>Testing: Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, or similar).</li><li>Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork abilities.</li><li>Education: Bachelor&#39;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li></ul>Preferred (Nice to Have):<ul><li>CMS Platforms: Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentful.</li><li>AWS Kiro: Exposure to or experience with AWS Kiro for AI-assisted development.</li><li>ZScaler: Understanding of ZScaler for secure access and zero-trust network architectures.</li><li>Additional Languages: Experience with Java or Kotlin.</li><li>Messaging/Streaming: Experience with Kafka or AWS Kinesis.</li><li>Serverless: Experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures.</li><li>Monitoring &amp; Observability: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, or third-party monitoring tools.</li><li>Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.</li><li>Palantir: Foundry platform experience in full-stack web development</li><li>AWS AI/ML stack:  SageMaker, Bedrock and related AI services</li></ul>Benefits Highlights:  Employees who meet benefit eligibility guidelines and work 30 hours or more weekly, have the ability to enroll in Group 1001’s benefits package.
