<p>This team focuses on building client application experiences for PlayStation consoles, websites, mobile applications and beyond. These features serve millions of users around the world. <h2><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Develop, test and document business critical features and applications</li>
<li>Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to understand feature requirements, capture technical requirements and craft solutions for components and applications for the PlayStation ecosystem</li>
<li>Passionate about quality and strives to improve processes, proposes standard methodologies and drives their usage within the teams</li>
<li>Developing JavaScript-based applications for PlayStation gaming consoles, web, mobile and future flagship Sony devices and services</li>
<li>Building digital commerce solutions for PlayStation games, media content, subscription services and more</li>
<li>Write robust unit and component tests to ensure reliability and prevent regressions.</li>
<li>Work quickly and optimally in a fast-paced ever-evolving environment</li>
<li>Work independently and collaborate with internal and external engineers</li>
<li>Work with other team members by reviewing and giving feedback on pull requests and design plans</li>
<li>Define and refine technical approaches that support performance, accessibility, and scalability.</li>
<li>Exercise your feature building capabilities and collaborate within your team to optimize existing solutions as well</li>
<li>Deploying platform experiences through CI/CD pipelines</li>
<li>Monitoring software releases, analyze telemetry, and adapt to production data</li>
<li>Continuously learn, experiment, and bring forward innovative ideas — participate in Hackathons and Café Days to help shape the future of PlayStation experiences.</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of relevant work experience instead of a degree</li>
<li>2-3 years of building product experiences with proficiencies in UI technologies</li>
<li>A passion for robust sustainable and high-quality code</li>
<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li>
<li>Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Capable of producing detailed design and development documentation</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Using HTML, CSS, the JavaScript ecosystem and familiarity with popular frameworks like React, Angular, Jest, and TypeScript</li>
<li>Familiarity with GraphQL, REST APIs, and containerization tools such as Docker.</li>
<li>Understanding of build pipelines and CI/CD standards, especially across multiple platforms.</li>
<li>Experience working with performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design principles.</li>
<li>Curiosity about AI-assisted development tools or automation that improves developer efficiency</li>
