The Role
We are seeking an early-career Solutions Engineer to serve as a technical advocate to support our client's MBSE initiatives at Arnold Air Force Base. This role involves collaborating with engineers to execute solution design tasks, maintain model traceability, and contribute to cross-functional collaboration. Essential Responsibilities

Solutions Engineer

DoD Top Secret clearance; Python proficiency; MBSE tool knowledge; 0-3 years systems engineering experience; strong communication and collaboration; systems thinking.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Test Engineer will perform the following functions:
1. Develop, implement and support test processes for the Production of a variety of products including Servers, switches and storage devices
2. Develop techniques to troubleshoot failing systems as quickly and efficiently as possible
3. Create work instructions and update online documentation for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing all CCBU products assembled at QMN
4. Train production technicians to test, troubleshoot and repair CCBU products manufactured at QMN. This will entail managing several test projects simultaneously. 
 
Test Engineer will be expected to drive test process efficiency improvements reducing Time-to-Fail and overall test time while maintaining integrity of test and quality of product shipped. 
 
Support the launch of new products at QMN.  Work closely with the end customers, corporate R&D, Test Development, and Manufacturing teams to analyze test data, troubleshoot, and identify product defects, verify fixes and document test results.  Communicate product readiness, level of quality, and results to project team.

The Department of Chemistry at Middle Tennessee State University invites applications for a full-time postdoctoral research fellow position in computational materials and chemistry This is a one-year temporary appointment with the possibility of renewal for an additional year. Dr. Zhen Jiang’s research focuses on computational chemistry and materials theory, with particular interests in reaction mechanisms, ion/electron transport in catalytic and energy materials, and data-driven materials design. The group combines first-principles calculations (DFT), multiscale modeling, high-throughput computation, and machine learning to study and rationally design novel catalytic and energy materials.
The group’s long-term research directions include:

As an R&amp;D Associate you will be a critical member of the team who will oversee and conduct projects and trials with the goals of portfolio diversification and process optimization. You will work not only with the R&amp;D team, but also a global network of leading horticulture companies to drive innovation for the company and stay on the cutting edge of CEA technology.&nbsp; Roles and Responsibilities<ul><li>Initial training period on growing and greenhouse procedures including but not limited to climate control strategy, fertilizer management, and biocontrol programs</li><li>Oversight of trials including experimental design, data collection, analysis, and reporting&nbsp;</li><li>Help to create R&amp;D Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)&nbsp;</li><li>Stay up to date on current CEA literature with an understanding of how the information could be beneficial to the company</li><li>Collaboration with other departments&nbsp;</li></ul>RequirementsRequired Education, Experience, and Skills<ul><li>Basic plant science knowledge</li><li>Basic statistics</li><li>Microsoft Office - Proficient with Excel</li><li>Time management and ability to work independently</li><li>Strong attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, adaptability, problem solving mentality, high level of critical thinking</li><li>1 year experience greenhouse work</li><li>Passion for CEA and future of the industry</li><li>Ability to work in a hot and humid greenhouse environment for multiple hours a day</li></ul>Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Science (ex. Plant Science, Horticulture, Environmental Science, Bioengineering)</li><li>Basic knowledge of computer language and syntax (ex. R, python)</li><li>Research experience</li></ul>
