The Associate Automation Engineer is an entry-level role designed to grow the next generation of automation engineering talent. You'll work alongside senior engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy automated manufacturing cells &mdash; gaining hands-on experience across controls, robotics, software, and system integration, with increasing ownership as you develop.
<h4>What You'll Do</h4>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support senior Automation Engineers in the development, build, and commissioning of automated manufacturing cells.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist with system integration, assembly support, and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of automation equipment.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Participate in the development, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems, robotics, and automation software.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Contribute to programming and debugging across PLCs, robots, and higher-level software systems.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Help develop and modify HMIs, control logic, and feedback/control systems.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support robotics integration, including setup, testing, and optimization of robotic cells.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Use CAD/CAM tools to support mechanical layouts, cell design concepts, and documentation.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Take part in commissioning and deployment activities at manufacturing sites, with occasional travel required.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Learn and apply engineering best practices, safety standards, and structured development methodologies under the guidance of experienced mentors.</li>

<h4>What We're Looking For</h4>
Basic Qualifications
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Foundational understanding of automation, control systems, and robotics principles.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Understanding of PLC programming, industrial networks, and HMI development.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Programming experience in one or more of the following: Python, Java, or C# is preferred</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Working knowledge of control and feedback systems, as well as robotics and automated systems.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Exposure to CAD/CAM tools &mdash; NX preferred; academic or project experience is welcome.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong problem-solving skills with a genuine eagerness to learn in a hands-on manufacturing environment.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Clear, effective communication skills and an analytical mindset.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ability to manage shifting priorities and support multiple sites with a degree of independence.</li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Willingness to travel up to 25% in support of automation builds and deployments.</li>

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
