Software Engineer Associate

Kidwell is looking for a hard-working, positive, and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Summer Application Specialist Intern. This internship is a summer-only, full-time opportunity designed for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field who are eager to gain hands-on experience in software development, API integration and AI/ML initiatives.
The primary function of this position will be to support the Application Specialist in developing and integrating software solutions across the organization. The intern will contribute to real-world technical projects, including a focused AI/ML initiative. Other tasks and responsibilities will depend on the intern’s abilities and the needs of the department.
This is a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in API development and AI/ML applications while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

·         Coursework or a minor in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science is preferred.
·         Basic understanding of RESTful APIs, object-oriented programming, and database structures is preferred.
·         Honesty, dependability, organization, and strong attention to detail are essential to this position.
·         Possesses strong verbal, written, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
·         Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
