Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and recommendations for appropriate action. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and processes. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Sometimes represents the organization to external customers/clients. The software exploits the full potential of hardware design.</li><li>Provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate risk failures.</li><li>Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines.</li><li>Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of application; identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements.</li><li>Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high-quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem.</li><li>Collaborates and communicates with internal and outsourced development partners regarding software systems design status, project progress, and issue resolution.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Education and Experience Required: </i></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Computer Engineering, or equivalent.</li><li>Typically, at least one intern experience before this.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><i>Knowledge and Skills: </i></b></p><ul><li>Extensive experience with multiple software systems design tools and languages: C and Python.</li><li>Experience reading the ASIC designs and understanding them in detail.</li><li>Experience working with some flavor of Emulator and Simulator environments.</li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – think outside the box.</li><li>Experience in overall architecture of software systems: Linux kernel drivers</li><li>Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platform types into overall architecture.</li><li>Evaluating forms and processes for software systems testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
