This position combines deep Java-based application development expertise with hands-on leadership in Generative AI (GenAI) solution delivery.The role requires close collaboration with technology and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and production-ready solutions while mentoring team members and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, compliance, and ethical standards.<h3></h3>Key ResponsibilitiesApplication Development &amp; Technical Leadership<ul><li>Lead end-to-end application development, including systems analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment, in alignment with enterprise architecture standards.</li><li>Partner with multiple management and technology teams to ensure effective system integration and to identify and deliver enhancements supporting new products and process improvements.</li><li>Resolve high-impact, complex technical and business problems through in-depth analysis of business processes, system flows, and industry standards.</li><li>Design and maintain high-quality, scalable, and resilient Java-based applications supporting collections and financial platforms.</li><li>Establish and enforce development standards for coding, testing, debugging, deployment, and operational support.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and guidance to mid-level developers and analysts through mentoring, task allocation, and code reviews.</li></ul>Generative AI &amp; Advanced Analytics<ul><li>Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end Generative AI solutions for collections use cases, with hands-on experience delivering production-ready implementations.</li><li>Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers to implement GenAI technologies, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, vector databases, prompt engineering, and chatbot solutions.</li><li>Contribute directly to the codebase and participate in architectural and technical decision-making for GenAI-enabled applications.</li><li>Integrate GenAI solutions seamlessly into existing Java-based systems and enterprise workflows.</li><li>Support deployment, scalability, reliability, and maintainability of AI-enabled solutions in production environments.</li><li>Contribute to the development and optimization of real-time and streaming AI solutions.</li><li>Stay current with advancements in generative AI and proactively share best practices, patterns, and knowledge with the team.</li></ul>Collaboration, Risk, and Governance<ul><li>Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective, maintainable technical solutions.</li><li>Ensure adherence to ethical AI principles, data privacy standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.</li><li>Assess and manage risk in technical and business decisions, safeguarding the firm, its clients, and its assets.</li><li>Comply with applicable laws, policies, and control standards, escalating and managing issues with transparency and accountability.</li></ul><h3>Core Technology</h3><ul><li>Languages: Java, Python</li><li>Architecture: Microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures</li><li>Frameworks &amp; Security: Automated testing, observability, secure coding practices, compliance and governance</li></ul><h3>Required Qualifications</h3><ul><li>6–10 years of experience in application development or systems analysis, with extensive experience developing Java-based enterprise applications.</li><li>2&#43;
