<br/><br/><b>What You'll Do</b><br/><li>Drive data awareness by delivering accurate, actionable insights to support analytics and decision-making.</li><li>Design and implement complex, reliable, and scalable data pipelines.</li><li>Support, maintain, and optimize existing ETL processes and data interfaces.</li><li>Collaborate with data and product teams to prioritize and deliver impactful data solutions.</li><li>Create clear documentation and diagrams to enhance understanding across teams and leadership.</li><li>Provide expert-level guidance on data modeling and warehouse design.</li><li>Partner with internal teams to establish and maintain excellence in data governance, privacy, and security.</li><li>Promote continuous learning, adoption of new technologies, and best practices in data engineering.</li><li>Advocate for rigorous testing and monitoring to ensure the delivery of trusted, high-quality data.</li><li>Champion data quality initiatives within the data team and across the organization.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the Data Architect to uphold organizational standards andmaintain best practices.</li><li>Enhance data knowledge by supporting and improving user event processing.</li><li>Mentor and develop junior and mid-level data engineers and contracting partners.</li><li>Actively lead within the agile/scrum development processIndependently manage high-priority work while aligning with team goals.</li><br/><br/><b>Skills Needed to Succeed</b><br/><li>Ability to self-motivate, make independent decisions, and solve problems with innovation.</li><li>Effective at multi-tasking and time management to meet strict deadlines while remaining flexible and open to change.</li><li>Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to clearly explain complicated processes and foster partnerships.</li><li>Effective at process and organizational management to coordinate, structure, and provide vision to projects.</li><li>Strong leadership skills and understanding of developing and guiding others.</li><li>Expert-level SQL knowledge, capable of writing complex queries and performance tuning.</li><li>Deep knowledge in Database Management Systems, including Postgres, BigQuery, or MySQL.</li><li>Proficient in API and streaming data integration.</li><li>Deep knowledge of data warehousing models and design principles.</li><li>Familiar with user event data collection tools like Firebase, GA4, or similar platforms.</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Data preferred.</li><li>7+ years of related work experience.</li><li>Highly proficient in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or other general-purpose scripting languages.</li><li>Experienced with data orchestration tools like Airflow, FiveTran, DBT, Pub/Sub, or similar streaming technologies.</li><li>Experienced with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform&nbsp;(GCP),&nbsp;AWS, or Azure.</li><br/><br/><div><b><span style="font-size: 24px">Benefits We Offer</span></b></div><div><b>・ </b>Paid parental leave, including maternity, paternity, and adoption leave.</div><div><b>・ </b>Generous employer-paid leave for the use of vacation, sick time, and other qualifying reasons.&nbsp;</div><div><b>・ </b>Innovative and comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance that provides team members with useful resources and savings to navigate their holistic health.&nbsp;</div><div><b>・ </b>Life insurance policy provided for all staff members at 2x annual salary at no cost.
