<p>We are seeking a Project Engineer (PE) who is excited to operate at the unique crossroads of construction and finance�a role where precision, organization, and problem-solving directly impact the success of some of the most forward-thinking projects in the industry.</p>

<p>This is not a traditional back-office finance role. This is a project-facing, high-impact position where you will help drive financial clarity, discipline, and momentum on complex construction programs.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>

<p><strong>Cost Management & Financial Execution</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Support Project Managers in managing cost documentation, tracking, and workflows</li>
	<li>Maintain accurate budgets, forecasts, and cost reports within CMIC</li>
	<li>Assist with financial reporting and audit preparation alongside the Cost Engineer</li>
	<li>Support budget adjustments using established processes and approval structures</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Change Management</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Prepare and manage change documentation (PCIs, SCOs, OCOs)</li>
	<li>Coordinate subcontractor change orders from creation through execution</li>
	<li>Track and manage change order status and owner submission timelines</li>
	<li>Ensure all documentation is properly executed and stored</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Billing & Invoice Support</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Assist with monthly billing cycles and owner invoice preparation</li>
	<li>Coordinate with Accounting on invoice coding, review, and routing</li>
	<li>Ensure subcontractor documentation is complete and compliant for payment processing</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Support onboarding and system setup in CMIC and Textura</li>
	<li>Assist with subcontractor payment tracking and coordination</li>
	<li>Maintain accurate vendor records and cost coding structures</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Document Control & Systems Accuracy</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Maintain financial and contract documentation across systems</li>
	<li>Ensure accuracy of cost data, budgets, and change tracking</li>
	<li>Support compliance with project and company documentation standards</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Collaboration & Process Improvement</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Act as a resource for financial workflows and documentation standards</li>
	<li>Partner with Accounting, Cost Engineering, and Project Teams</li>
	<li>Contribute to improving consistency and efficiency across project financial processes</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Project Assignment & Travel Opportunity</strong></p>

<p>This position will support a flagship project in Ft. Stockton, TX, playing a direct role in delivering infrastructure tied to next-generation technology and AI expansion.</p>

<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Bachelor�s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li>
	<li>2�5 years of experience in project engineering, cost engineering, construction finance, or accounting support</li>
	<li>Familiarity with construction cost management, billing cycles, and change processes</li>
	<li>Experience with CMIC, Textura, or similar systems preferred</li>
	<li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li>
	<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment</li>
	<li>Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Reporting Structure</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Supports Project Managers and Senior Project Managers</li>
	<li>Works closely with Accounting and the Cost Engineer</li>
	<li>Focused on execution, documentation, and system accuracy within established processes</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Combination of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the day</li>
	<li>Ability to climb stairs and navigate active job sites</li>
	<li>Frequent computer use (keyboard/mouse)</li>
	<li>Ability to lift up to 40 lbs</li>
	<li>Visual, hearing, and communication abilities sufficient for jobsite and office environment</li>
</ul>
