The Respiratory Medical Science Liaison (Asthma) is responsible for providing medical and scientific support for AstraZeneca&#39;s marketed products, new indications and compounds in development.  </div><div>This is done by: </div><div>Developing relationships and engaging in scientific exchange with medical and scientific partners, including Healthcare Professionals, Quality Assurance Managers, Population Health Experts, and Managed Markets Customers within Health Systems.  Each scientific engagement is focused on providing clinical differentiation, therapeutic landscape expertise, and supporting care transformation that enables guidelines-directed medical therapy with the ultimate goal of improving medical care for patient with Asthma. </div><div>Partnering with key internal stakeholders including Commercial Account Directors/Managers, Payer Medical, Medical Directors, and Practice Change Champions. </div><div>Identifying pre-clinical, clinical and post-marketing study investigators in alignment with Medical Affairs objectives; and provide impactful information that enhances the value and proper use of AZ products to internal partners. </div><div>Responding to customer inquiries to provide focused and balanced clinical and scientific information that supports the appropriate use of or clinically differentiates AstraZeneca&#39;s products and services </div><div>Essential for the role: </div><div><ul><li>0-1 years’ experience as a Medical Science Liaison in the pharmaceutical industry </li></ul></div><div><ul><li>Advanced Clinical/Science Degree required (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD, MSN, NP, PA, etc.). Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity and eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program. Benefits offered include a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
