A millwork machine operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used to produce millwork products, such as doors, windows, cabinets, and architectural woodwork. Duties/Responsibilities:

	<li style="margin-left:8px">Machine Operation: Operate and control millwork machinery, such as saws, routers, planers, molders, or CNC machines, to perform various machining operations on wood or wood composite materials.</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px">Equipment Setup: Set up machines before production runs, including tooling changes, material positioning, and adjustments to feed rates, cutting depths, or other parameters based on the required specifications.</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px">Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials onto the machine, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning for machining operations. Move finished products to designated areas or production lines.</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px">Production Monitoring: Monitor machine operations to ensure they run smoothly and adjust as needed to maintain optimal production output, quality, and efficiency. Monitor material flow, feeding mechanisms, and cutting accuracy.</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px">Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating millwork machinery, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and following lockout/tagout procedures during maintenance or repair activities.</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px">Production Documentation: Record and maintain accurate production data, such as machine settings, output quantities, downtime, and any other relevant information in logs or computer systems. Complete production reports or forms as required.</li>

	<li style="margin-left:8px">Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or specifications related to millwork products. Understanding dimensions, tolerances, and machining requirements is important.</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px">Skill in setting up millwork machines, including tooling changes, material positioning, and adjustments to feed rates, cutting depths, or other parameters.</li>
	<li style="margin-left:8px">Ability to work with precision and maintain attention to detail to achieve accurate and high-quality machining results.</li>

Education and Experience:

	<li style="margin-left:8px">Familiarity with different types of millwork materials and their characteristics.</li>
