From frontline workers collecting real-time data to teams managing critical field operations, your work will directly support impactful missions across the globe.</p>
<p>As a Software Developer II, you’ll collaborate with a passionate, cross-functional team to design intuitive, high-performance mobile apps built with the latest Android technologies. You’ll tackle complex challenges like offline data sync, GPS integration, and seamless mapping experiences—all while delivering clean, scalable code that brings powerful field workflows to life.</p>

<li>Build the latest Android apps from architecture to design (ICS and up)</li>
<li>Join forces with other developers and designers throughout the development process</li>
<li>Understand user requirements—these apps have to meet real world scenarios</li>
<li>Develop software for use in field mapping, data collection, sensor networks, street navigation, and more</li>
<li>Solve complex problems with design, development, and user experience</li>
<li>Be an Android advocate within the company and at conferences; help us grow Android development capability throughout Esri</li>

<li>2+ years of commercial software development experience</li>
<li>Be an Android enthusiast and a game changer</li>
<li>You are anxious to learn but you’ve got these things covered:

<li>Kotlin programming</li>
<li>Developing on the Android platform</li>
<li>Object oriented design skills</li>
<li>Data structures and algorithms</li>
<li>Mobile development issues related to performance optimization and caching</li>

<li>Develop strong skills and best practices on the team through participation in design and code reviews</li>
