Role is responsible for troubleshooting process problems and performing minor maintenance to ensure continued operation of the production line. The Machine Operator is also responsible for following our company's Good Manufacturing Practices.<div>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:•      Demonstrates safe work practices by wearing correct PPE and following safety policies<ul><li>Demonstrates punctuality and adheres to work schedule.</li></ul>•      Demonstrates a One Team Cross Functional attitude by working well and effectively with others<ul><li>Embraces and participates in continuous improvement processes to drive change within the plant.</li></ul>•      Adheres to company General Manufacturing Policies<ul><li>Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.</li><li>Keeps the work area clutter free, clean, and organized.</li><li>Introduction to preventive maintenance, mold, neck and blow pin and other mechanical changes.</li><li>Operate blow-mold/PET/injection molding machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles.</li><li>Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure.</li><li>Introduction to troubleshooting and resolving process problems.</li><li>Performs bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.</li><li>Inspects the quality of bottles during production, packaging and labeling.</li><li>Perform audits, weights and quality checks. Position Summary
The CNC Machinist I Produces machined parts by operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.
Principle Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Operate CNC machines within specified tolerances following work instructions and in accordance with machine programs and engineering drawings.</li>
<li>Change dull tooling, and/or make minor offsets and adjustments as needed for tooling wear. </li>
<li>Ensure product quality is achieved by working to operator owned quality (OOQ) standards and requirements including using a range of measuring equipment and interpreting inspection reports. </li>
<li>Perform routine maintenance as per daily machine checklist and adhere to PM schedule.</li>
<li>Perform hand finishing. </li>
<li>Always Follow Good Manufacturing and Good Document Practices (GMP/GDP) including completion of job routers/ cards. </li>
<li>Ensure safe working practices are carried out to minimize risks to the job holder and/or colleagues, including identifying and reporting Safety, Health &amp; Environmental issues. </li>
<li>Achieve set productivity targets and identify ways of improving productivity. </li>
<li>Record all activities in a timely manner on the job tracking system. </li>
<li>Identify and support Continuous Improvement activities. </li>
<li>Identify and escalate manufacturing issues to the Team Leader and/or Supervisor, participating in the resolution as required. </li>
<li>Maintain 5S/housekeeping standards within work area. </li>
<li>Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.</li>

Qualification Requirements
Credentials/Experience:
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required </li>
<li>Experience of working in a production environment (E/D)</li>
</ul>
Experience/Educational/Training Preferred:

<li>Associate's degree/certificate in Tooling &amp; Machining or Machinist apprenticeship preferred.   </li>
<li>GCSE/NVQ Math and English is desirable (UK only)  </li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

<li>Ability or demonstrable aptitude to operate and maintain a CNC Machine</li>
<li>Solid necessary math skills, including measuring and keeping count records</li>
