This position is responsible for operating the assigned process areas inside (Mod V Board) and outside of Salt Dome Operations (Freeport Stratton Ridge Operations, FSR) site in a safe and optimal manner. This position will be required to perform operations-related activities as per the job role description in the Operate Work Plant Process.Salt Dome Operations stores and transfers raw materials and products between most Texas Operations manufacturing plants, and mines salt reserves to provide treated brine to all chlorine production facilities in Texas Operations. Salt Dome&#39;s assets cover approximately 3,200 acres along Stratton Ridge Road east of Clute, Texas and the facility is part of Dow&#39;s Mining, Storage, and Pipeline (MSP) value center within the Hydrocarbons &amp; Energy Business. These positions are aligned to Diamond Infrastructure Solutions. Responsibilities<ul><li>Operates and field checks process equipment. Monitors process conditions, equipment and control systems (pumps, compressors, drying towers, exchangers, fired heaters, caverns, tanks, ponds, flares, scrubbers/separators, and multiple highly integrated pipeline header systems.)</li><li>Performs routine sampling and effective shift rounds, documenting and escalating deficiencies.</li><li>Works with shift team members to complete tasks assigned to operations as per Task List (equipment preparation, routine maintenance, non-routine samples, etc.)</li><li>Ensures operational activities and process performance are aligned with Salt Dome Operations and business goals. </li><li>Follows and helps create Operating Discipline policies, procedures, standards and practices to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of assigned plant areas. Ensures an adequate operating discipline is available for all planned and unplanned activities.</li><li>Conducts effective shift relief, as defined in facility specific operating discipline and using Logbook tools, to ensure effective communication and handoff to arriving shift team and day staff.</li><li>As required, performs immediate response activities and takes part in Root Cause Investigations. </li><li>Mentors and trains new and existing operations personnel on process operation, troubleshooting and the use of operating discipline in alignment to plant&#39;s training process.</li><li>Tracks and utilizes the plant&#39;s key performance metrics on shift that are applicable to optimize operations and identify improvement opportunities. Uses process knowledge and skills to make improvements in plant performance and operating discipline. The Instrument &amp; Electrical Technician, Three Rivers / Berclair Midstream will be based out of Three Rivers, TX or the Goliad Gas Plant in Berclair, TX and is primarily responsible for the safe operations and maintenance of Company gas processing and pipeline assets located in and around the geographic area. The position will calibrate and inspect measurement equipment, conduct routine maintenance, eliminate and report product leaks, seeps, and spills, as well as assist with construction, maintenance and mechanical integrity projects. The position will maintain qualifications and record documentation in accordance with all applicable DOT and OSHA regulations to ensure compliance. This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment. This position has a base salary range of $70,200 - $114,400.
