Communicates with maintenance regarding significant repairs.</span></li><li><span>Responsible completion of operating reports, notification of environmental deviations, and equipment lockout/tag-out for maintenance and repair.</span></li><li><span>Comply with all applicable EH&amp;S policies and procedures.</span></li><li><span>Perform skilled routine and non-routine maintenance on plant and surrounding equipment. This can include equipment such as: Compressors Pumps Filter Houses In-Line Screens Piping and Valving Automobiles Pressurized Process Vessels and Supporting Equipment.</span></li><li><span>Create &amp; maintain operational and inspection records.</span></li><li><span>Document all operational activities via plant logs and computer records.</span></li><li><span>Ensure proper housekeeping.</span></li><li><span>Recommend facility modifications or procedure changes to enhance operation and cost analysis.</span></li><li><span>Must comply with facility regulations and respond within critical time limitations to unusual operating conditions and changing operational modes.</span></li><li><span>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</span></li></ul> <div> <p><span>MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p><ul><li><span>High school diploma or equivalent</span></li><li><span>Must have a valid driver's license and comply with company’s driving policy and insurance requirements</span></li><li><span>Ability to work 12-hour rotating (day/night) shifts and will require some weekends and holidays to be worked.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to pass pre-employment and annual respirator fit testing.</span></li><li><span>Regular use of complex machines and equipment; specialized or advanced software programs.</span></li><li><span>Interpersonal communication skills are required in order to interface with all affected teams, personnel, and vendors; able to work in a self-directed work team</span></li><li><span>Must become proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software modules, including Word, Excel and Outlook</span></li><li><p><span>Must work with a minimum of supervision and be able to manage their time when given multiple tasks,&nbsp;</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p></li><li><p><span>Regular and reliable attendance is required</span></p><p>&nbsp;</p></li><li><span>Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to call outs as needed to fulfill business objective</span></li><li><span>Follow and adhere to all applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines (ex: eye protection, footwear, Nomex).</span><br><br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p><ul><li><span>1-3 years experience in maintenance and/or operation of a natural gas plant</span></li><li><span>Two year associates degree or equivalent on the job training in specific skill area.</span></li><li><span>Experience working in a team environment, self-starter, and ability to work with peers in collaborative efforts</span></li><li><span>Strong organizational skills</span></li><li><span>Ability to work well with peers and other crafts</span></li><li><span>Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision</span></li></ul><p><span>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</span></p><ul><li><span>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.</span></li><li><span>Able to work in close quarters: i.e., work while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing.</span></li><li><span>Ability to lift, push, and pull at least a minimum of 50lbs.</span><br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span>EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:</span></p><p><span>Targa Resources provides equal employment opportunities based on merit, experience, and other work-related criteria and without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, age, pregnancy, disability, veteran status, or any other status protected by applicable law.
