<div><div><div><div><div>Position Title: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Senior Commercial Loan ProcessorExempt Status: &nbsp; &nbsp;Non-ExemptReports to: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;Commercial Loan Processor SupervisorLocation:University Center- Fort Worth, TX or Tyler Operations- Tyler, TXBenefits:<ul type="disc"><li>Medical, Prescription Drugs, Dental, and Vision Insurance&nbsp;</li><li>Insurance Eligibility for Team Members and Dependents Starting on the First Day of Employment</li><li>401(k) with a Match&nbsp;</li><li>Basic, Voluntary, and Dependent Life Insurance&nbsp;</li><li>Paid Time Off</li><li>Paid Bank Holidays&nbsp;</li><li>Workplace Wellness Programs</li><li>Employee Assistance Programs</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement&nbsp;</li></ul>Job Summary: &nbsp;Responsible for ensuring both real estate and non-real estate secured commercial loans originated in the Bank are closed in accordance with the proper loan approval and meet the Bank&rsquo;s credit policy requirements. &nbsp;The Senior Commercial Loan Processor orders/collects and reviews entity documentation and collateral due diligence, engages lending partners to ensure loan documentation is consistent with the loan approval, and coordinates the final closing activities in the loan cycle. &nbsp;The Senior Commercial Loan Processor serves as the point of contact and process driver during the origination process to closing, ensuring an exceptional client experience. &nbsp;Essential Functions: &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<ul type="square"><li>Manages and leads the coordination of complex commercial loan closings from term sheet to initial funding for both internal and attorney-prepared loan documents by collaborating with internal lending partners, clients, title companies, attorneys, and third-party vendors.</li><li>Responsible for reviewing loan documentation against credit approval and ensure documents comply with Bank, federal, and state regulations.</li><li>Collects, reviews, and analyzes due diligence required to close a commercial loan including but not limited to, entity documentation, UCC searches, flood certificates, appraisals, environmental reports, insurance, lien searches, title commitments, surveys and all required documentation based on the collateral type.</li><li>Prepares documents internally or engages attorneys, as applicable.</li><li>Coordinates the flow of information between the Bank, borrower, and attorney firm.</li><li>Processes initial funding upon receipt and review of executed closing package.</li><li>Sets up initial collateral tracking for new loans, such as required recorded instruments, insurance, lien releases, etc.</li><li>Perfects collateral based on collateral type which includes filing UCCs and recording security instruments, as applicable.</li><li>Completes the Doc Prep tab within nCino. &nbsp;Uploads copies of Loan Agreement, Note, Boarding Data, and moves stage to booking.</li><li>Builds and maintains effective relationships with lending partners, clients, and team members to ensure an exception client experience.</li><li>Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.</li><li>Maintains confidentiality of all sensitive Bank information.</li><li>Maintains a positive and caring atmosphere for customers and employees consistent with Southside Bank&rsquo;s mission, CORE Values, and Blue Book culture guide.</li><li>Provides enthusiastic, professional, and courteous service to Southside Bank customers and employees.</li><li>Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.</li><li>Understands and agrees to abide by the policies and procedures established at Southside Bank.</li><li>Responsible for complying with audit policies and procedures as they pertain to this position.</li><li>Performs duties in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and related anti-money laundering laws, and in accordance with the Bank&rsquo;s Information Security Program.</li><li>Must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.</li></ul>Additional Functions:<ul><li>Perform routine duties with minimal supervision using standard practices or procedures.</li><li>Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
