We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist/Processor who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The right candidate combines excellent organizational ability and attention to detail with a commitment to patient-centered service, promoting both laboratory quality and team success.

Pay:&nbsp;$17 - $23.02 per hour depending on experience
&nbsp;
Schedule:&nbsp;Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm with 1/2-hour lunch

In this role, you will be responsible for:
&nbsp;

<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle; color: black;">Administrative duties: Providing excellent customer service, answering phones, and monitoring for instrumentation alarms.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle; color: black;">Technical responsibilities: Performing venipuncture for blood collection, obtaining additional specimen types as required, and preparing all samples for lab testing and screening.&nbsp;</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle; color: black;">Accurate data management: Verifying specimen information, performing data entry, and properly identifying patient information.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle; color: black;">Specimen handling: Receiving, processing, and packaging samples for referral labs while maintaining specimen integrity.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle; color: black;">Compliance: Following safety protocols, HIPAA policies, Medicare rules, and participating in quality assurance.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle; color: black;">Flexibility: Covering work shifts at different sites as needed to ensure smooth operations.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle; color: black;">
Reliability: Maintaining consistent, punctual, and reliable attendance to ensure continuity of operations and support for our team and patients.

Education &amp; Certification:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

<li data-start="433" data-end="528">Previous phlebotomy experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training</li>

Physical Requirements:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Laboratory setting with automated equipment emitting ambient sounds.</li>
<li>High level of staff interaction in close quarters; must hear alarms to ensure timely response to safety needs.</li>
<li>Regular handling of potentially infectious samples, with required protective gear (lab coat, gloves, goggles, face shield).</li>
<li>Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, crawl, twist, and walk on uneven surfaces throughout the day.</li>
<li>Frequent bending, extended standing, and lifting up to 30 pounds.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work extended hours or overtime as needed.</li>
</ul>
OSHA Category: This role involves exposure to blood, body fluids, and/or tissues, with Hepatitis-B vaccination offered to all performing these duties.
