We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer with deep ReactJS expertise to lead the design and development of cloud-native web applications in an AI-accelerated engineering environment. This remote, contract-based role emphasizes front-end architecture, technical leadership, and delivery of scalable, high-performance user interfaces—leveraging modern AI tools to increase development velocity, code quality, and design exploration while maintaining strong engineering judgment.
You will work closely with distributed teams across design, back-end, and platform engineering, setting front-end standards and shaping user-facing architecture for complex, cloud-hosted systems.

<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex ReactJS applications for cloud-native platforms</li>
<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Define and evolve front-end technical direction, including component libraries, design systems, state management, and build strategies</li>
<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Translate product and UX requirements into scalable, maintainable front-end architectures, using AI tools to explore and validate design and implementation approaches</li>
<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Apply AI-assisted tools to accelerate coding, refactoring, debugging, and documentation, while rigorously reviewing and validating all outputs</li>
<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Partner closely with back-end engineers building Python-based, cloud-hosted microservices, ensuring clean API contracts and robust integrations</li>
<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Build and support applications deployed in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)</li>
<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ensure applications meet high standards for performance, accessibility, security, and reliability, using AI-assisted analysis to surface risks and bottlenecks</li>
<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation, including AI-assisted test generation and coverage analysis</li>
<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and raise the engineering bar for mid-level and junior engineers</li>
<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Collaborate with product, design, and platform teams in an agile, distributed environment</li>
<li style="line-height:normal;font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Troubleshoot complex front-end and integration issues across cloud environments, using AI tools to accelerate root-cause analysis</li>

The range for this position is $128,201.00 - $176,277.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
