Position Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Low-Code / Application Developer to join our team in Washington, D.C., San Diego, C.A., or Plant City, F.L. 
This full-time position requires a hands-on developer who can design, configure, and extend applications using low-code and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) platforms, while also bringing hands-on coding ability to integrate, customize, and secure solutions within government environments. 
The ideal candidate will have experience with secure application development, a passion for writing clean, testable code, and an eye for quality throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

<ul>
	<li>Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable applications primarily using low-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse) in a federal/DoD environment.</li>
	<li>Extend low-code apps with custom code when needed (front-end, back-end, APIs) to meet mission-specific requirements.</li>
	<li>Integrate low-code systems into secure government environments (enterprise systems, on-prem databases, and cloud services).</li>
	<li>Work with customers to gather and analyze requirements, design wireframes, build prototypes, and implement solutions.</li>
	<li>Deliver features across front-end interfaces, server-side logic, APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.</li>
	<li>Build and execute test plans, unit tests, and integration tests to ensure functional reliability and system integrity.</li>
	<li>Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code with a focus on testability and code quality.</li>
	<li>Integrate and manage databases (e.g., SQL Server, Dataverse, Redis) and ensure data integrity.</li>
	<li>Use Git version control to manage code collaboration.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support secure, functional, and intuitive applications.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications:

<ul>
	<li>Active Secret clearance required</li>
	<li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of total, relevant professional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.</li>
	<li>2-4 years of building and integrating applications on low-code platforms, preferably in government environments.</li>
	<li>Expertise with Microsoft Power Platform tools like Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Dataverse.</li>
	<li>Proficiency with at least one modern scripting/programming language such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or PowerShell to extend and integrate low-code applications.</li>
	<li>Experience with at least one RDBMS, including SQL query writing, such as SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.</li>
	<li>Practical experience developing and hosting applications or data solutions in Azure or AWS.</li>
	<li>Familiarity with Git for source control and team-based development workflows.</li>
	<li>Strong understanding of software testing principles, debugging techniques, and QA best practices.</li>
	<li>Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.</li>
	<li>Understanding of Jira / Agile methodology.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>Experience working within DoD IT environments, including IL4/IL5/IL6 systems or compliance with DoD STIGs and security controls.</li>
</ul>

Preferred Qualifications:

<ul>
	<li>Familiarity with a modern front-end framework such as React or Angular.</li>
	<li>Familiarity with a modern back-end framework such as .NET or ExpressJS.</li>
	<li>Experience with RESTful API development, third-party service integration, and data flow orchestration.</li>
</ul>

<ul>
	<li>Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Docker, and Kubernetes</li>
	<li>Previous experience working on government contracts or secure software environments.</li>
	<li>Familiarity with Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), and/or U.S. Navy.</li>
