Position Overview:
This position is for a Senior DevSecOps Engineer. You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented members at ARKA. Our ideal candidate is a DevSecOps Engineer who is a hard charging self-starter that can come onto a team and begin to produce quickly. You should have an advanced understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines.

Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field or 4 years of directly related work experience in lieu of a degree</li>
<li>5+ years of Infrastructure/DevOps experience</li>
<li>Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and engagement with virtual or remote teams</li>
<li>Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Kubernetes and deploying applications to Kubernetes clusters</li>
<li>Experience with using Helm charts to deploy software to Kubernetes clusters (ie. Argo CD)</li>
<li>Strong experience with at least one of the major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)</li>
<li>Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Github Actions, etc)</li>
<li>Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, GitHub workflows)</li>
<li>IAT Level II or III certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+)</li>
<li>Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance with fully adjudicated CI Polygraph</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile software development methodology</li>
<li>Experience with container tools (Docker, Podman) and container orchestration</li>
<li>Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)</li>
<li>Basic understanding of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana or similar</li>
</ul>
Pay Range: $140,000 - $190,000
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
