Your Team Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Developer to join our technology team and contribute to this next generation solution. As a member of the Development team, you will build high performance and scalable services primarily using various technologies. These services will provide an efficient and comprehensive gateway into our Indices group. You will work within a local and global team of highly skilled Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and Product Managers. Additionally, you will have significant interaction with the Developers and Testers working on our teams all over the world.Candidates for this position should be passionate about building high quality software and contributing to architecture design discussions. You will have strong analytical skills and a desire to go deep with knowledge and understanding of topics on technologies and financial area and motivated to work in a high-performance team.

Your Key Ressponsibilities:
<ul><li>Build the future MSCI Analytics Data platform</li><li>Collaborate with Product Management, Program Management and other internal stakeholders to convert business requirements into applications, tools, and deliver these as part of a product release roadmap.</li><li>Improve and create a modern and sophisticated platform using latest technologies and following industry best practices.</li><li>Collaborate with engineering teams across data and technology in implementing AI solutions and integrating services with MSCI’s data science products and platforms.</li><li>Evaluate different Architectural & Design approaches, solutions, frameworks & technologies and recommend the most suitable one.</li><li>Develop best practices for architecture, design, coding & automated test coverage.</li><li>Architect, Design and develop secure, high performance, scalable & maintainable applications using appropriate architectural patterns & latest Python and Oracle technologies.</li><li>Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture team to develop & use common Architectural principles.</li><li>Develop, document, and deploy reliable and scalable systems to automate the operation and management of our market data system and terms & condition database.</li></ul>Ensure optimal availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency of real-time application development by advocating engineering reliability into the development life cycle with a focus on fault tolerant approaches.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel:
<ul><li>Academic knowledge or working experience in data modeling, designing data pipelines using different data processing technologies (ex. Spark). Experience in importing, parsing, and cleansing data and in performance tuning.</li><li>Academic knowledge or working experience with one or more of the following languages: Python, Linux scripting resolving various kinds of data processing problems with XML, JSON and parquet file formats.</li><li>Knowledge of modern test frameworks for test case generation for unit and integration tests.</li><li>Knowledge of C++/Java/Scala is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge or working experience with relational databases, such as: Oracle/Sybase/MSSQL/MySQL</li><li>Knowledge or working experience with GIT repository management.</li><li>Knowledge or working experience in data engineering practices preferable, in the Cloud is a plus, such as Data Factory, DataLake, DeltaLake, DremIO</li><li>Knowledge or working experience in modern DevOps methods and containerization technologies preferable, including Docker and Kubernetes.</li><li>Working experience with automated scheduling such as AutoSys or Control-M is plus</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot complex data and process issues independently and being able to think out of box for a creative solution.</li><li>A cooperative team player with high level of critical thinking who can handle tight development deadlines.</li><li>Experience in working with Agile Scrum team is a plus.</li></ul>

Job Summary The AI & Automation Architect is responsible for designing the end-to-end technical strategy for the organization's intelligent automation initiatives. This role involves selecting the right mix of technologies (RPA, Generative AI, Machine Learning, IDP) to solve complex business problems.
