<p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p>

<p>Your role as a Software Engineer on the test team will be critical to the success of Firefly Aerospace Software for use on launch vehicles, spacecraft, and launch facilities. You will use all-digital and hardware-in-the-loop simulation environments to test our Flight and Ground software. This will include testing of software changes where you will act as a formal independent peer reviewer for software changes.</p>

<p>Software Engineers on the test team will also be responsible for developing and executing formal qualification software tests and certification tests including safety-critical testing as required by the U.S. Space Force Launch Facilities and the FAA, for pre and post launch software safety.</p>

<p>You will be part of the Aerospace Software Engineering Group and will work closely with Flight Software, Ground Software, and Software Simulation personnel to provide thorough tests for our software before use on a launch vehicle, spacecraft, or launch site.</p>

<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Design and develop test procedures for testing our Ground and Flight Software in all-digital and hardware-in-the-loop simulation environments</li>
	<li>Develop software for automating test case execution and report generation</li>
	<li>Setup automated testing of daily commits of new Ground and Flight Software and act as a peer reviewer for Merge/Pull Requests</li>
	<li>Create unit tests for simulation models, Flight Software, and Ground Software</li>
	<li>Adhere to customer test requirements, whether internal or external</li>
	<li>Develop and document requirements, designs, plans, and schedules</li>
	<li>Provide accurate test development milestones and communicate them to the Group</li>
	<li>Use Firefly Aerospace Software Engineering development processes and best practices</li>
	<li>Actively learn new test technologies and techniques and apply them to Firefly Aerospace Software testing</li>

<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>

	<li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant projects and accomplishments.</li>
	<li>Fulltime Industry experience with formal software testing and reporting</li>
	<li>Good C/C++ and Python knowledge</li>
	<li>Development experience under the Linux operating system</li>
	<li>Knowledge of the Agile Software Development Model</li>
	<li>Use of Git version control on a commercial software product</li>

<ul>
	<li>Advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Computer Engineering</li>

<h1><strong>SUMMARY</strong></h1>

<p>As a Senior GNC Engineer specializing in trajectory design at Firefly, you will design and optimize trajectories and guidance algorithms for operational launch vehicles. In this role, you will develop powered ascent trajectories and guidance algorithms, support new mission conception and performance analysis, and provide technical leadership while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. This position combines launch vehicle dynamics, numerical optimization techniques, and hands-on flight operations support while mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced operational environment.</p>

<h1><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></h1>

<ul>
	<li>Design, analyze, and optimize launch vehicle trajectories to maximize performance within operational and vehicle constraints</li>
	<li>Develop and implement launch vehicle guidance algorithms for powered ascent and orbital insertion</li>
	<li>Conduct statistical trajectory analysis to quantify performance margins and validate system robustness to off-nominal flight conditions</li>
	<li>Establish technical standards and validation methodologies for mission planning, trajectory design, and guidance algorithm verification</li>
	<li>Support business development activities including mission feasibility assessments, payload performance analysis, and customer mission concept development</li>
	<li>Develop mission analysis tools and automation pipelines to enable responsive design iteration</li>
	<li>Drive resolution of complex GNC challenges requiring deep technical expertise and rapid problem-solving</li>
	<li>Provide technical direction on system architecture and serve as subject matter expert for launch vehicle trajectories</li>
	<li>Mentor junior engineers in trajectory optimization and mission design</li>
	<li>Author technical documentation and analysis reports that communicate GNC concepts and results to diverse audiences</li>
	<li>Interface with cross-discipline teams to balance trajectory requirements with vehicle capabilities and operational constraints</li>
	<li>Serve as a GNC console operator for launch operations and perform post-flight analysis to improve vehicle models</li>
	<li>Champion continuous improvement initiatives for GNC processes, tools, and operational efficiency</li>
</ul>

<h1><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h1>

	<li>Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field</li>
	<li>5-10 years of experience in launch vehicle trajectory design, mission planning, or guidance algorithm development</li>
	<li>Advanced knowledge of launch vehicle flight mechanics and high-fidelity modeling of gravity, aerodynamics, and propulsion</li>
	<li>Strong understanding of numerical optimization and targeting methods applied to trajectory simulation and mission design</li>
	<li>Experience conducting mission trade studies, feasibility analysis, and performance verification for launch vehicle missions</li>
	<li>Familiarity with software development best practices including version control (Git), code documentation, and testing</li>
	<li>Strong proficiency in one or more trajectory design software tools (POST, OTIS, TAOS, or similar)</li>
	<li>Proficiency in Python for scripting, data analysis, and automation</li>
	<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li>

<p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p>

<p>We are seeking a <strong>Spacecraft Functional Test Engineer III </strong>to join our Assembly, Test and Launch Operations (ATLO) organization and play a key role in verifying spacecraft performance from integration through launch. As part of the spacecraft test team, you will develop and execute functional test campaigns that validate system and subsystem performance, ensuring each vehicle is flight-ready. This is a hands-on, highly cross-functional role that blends test architecture design, software-driven test execution, and real-time problem solving during vehicle integration and environmental testing.</p>

<p>You�ll work closely with subsystem design teams to define test requirements, develop test scripts and procedures, and build automation that enables repeatable, high-throughput testing across multiple spacecraft programs. This position is ideal for engineers who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy working across hardware and software boundaries, and are passionate about building reliable spacecraft through disciplined testing.</p>

<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>

<p>As a Spacecraft Functional Test Engineer III, you will:</p>

<ul>
	<li>Develop and execute spacecraft functional and system-level test procedures to verify vehicle performance and mission readiness.</li>
	<li>Design and maintain automated test scripts, configurations, and architectures to support efficient test execution across multiple programs.</li>
	<li>Collaborate with subsystem responsible engineers and chief engineers to define test requirements and ensure traceability to verification objectives.</li>
	<li>Support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testbed development and maintenance, including defining configurations and integrating hardware/software interfaces.</li>
	<li>Monitor and troubleshoot test results, identifying issues and driving root cause resolution across subsystems.</li>
	<li>Plan and support test operations in cleanroom, environmental, and launch site environments.</li>
	<li>Contribute to data management, telemetry visualization, and results analysis to ensure comprehensive verification and documentation.</li>
	<li>Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline test processes, increase automation, and enhance test reliability.</li>
	<li>Support the development of tools, dashboards, and analytics for test performance tracking and data-driven decision making.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>

<p><strong>Basic</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Bachelor�s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, Computer Engineering, or related field.</li>
	<li>6+ years of experience in aerospace, electromechanical systems, or test environments (internships, co-ops, or significant academic projects count).</li>
	<li>Exposure to functional or system-level testing through coursework, research, or internships.</li>
	<li>Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, C++, or similar.</li>
	<li>Basic understanding of hardware/software interfaces and data acquisition systems.</li>
	<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
	<li>Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Desired</strong></p>

<ul>
	<li>Exposure to Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) systems or simulation environments.</li>
	<li>Experience with data visualization or basic analytics tools.</li>
	<li>Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).</li>

<h1><strong>SUMMARY</strong></h1>

<p>As a Senior Flight Dynamics Engineer specializing in trajectory and maneuver design at Firefly, you will design and optimize spacecraft trajectories and maneuver sequences for operational missions spanning LEO and cislunar space. In this role, you will develop targeting algorithms, create error budgets, and serve as a flight dynamics operator while collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate mission designs into executable operations. This position combines advanced mission design with hands-on operational support while mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.</p>

<h1><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></h1>

<ul>
	<li>Optimize spacecraft trajectories to satisfy mission requirements while balancing delta-V budgets, mission duration, and payload constraints</li>
	<li>Design and maintain mission designs from the conceptual phase through the end of spacecraft mission operations</li>
	<li>Develop algorithms to target maneuvers that achieve spacecraft mission objectives</li>
	<li>Create maneuver error budgets and perform sensitivity analysis to assess robustness to execution uncertainties</li>
	<li>Formulate and analyze contingency maneuver plans and abort scenarios for off-nominal conditions</li>
	<li>Interface with cross-discipline teams to translate maneuver plans into executable command sequences and operational procedures</li>
	<li>Serve as a flight dynamics operator for spacecraft missions and perform maneuver reconstruction to improve spacecraft models</li>
	<li>Perform verification and validation of flight dynamics models and software using analytical solutions, benchmarks, flight data, and unit tests</li>
	<li>Author technical documentation and analysis reports that communicate flight dynamics concepts and results to diverse audiences</li>

<h1><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h1>

	<li>5-8 years of experience in spacecraft flight dynamics with significant depth in mission design or maneuver planning</li>
	<li>Experience supporting operational spacecraft missions through multiple mission phases</li>
	<li>Advanced understanding of orbital mechanics theory and applications</li>
	<li>Understanding of spacecraft attitude control and its impact on maneuver execution accuracy</li>
	<li>Strong understanding of targeting and optimization methods</li>
	<li>Knowledge of estimation theory and uncertainty modeling</li>
	<li>Experience in software development and modeling/simulation for spaceflight applications</li>
	<li>Working knowledge of Python and Linux</li>
	<li>Proficiency with one or more commercial trajectory design software tools (STK, FreeFlyer, GMAT, or similar)</li>
	<li>Excellent communication and presentation skills</li>

<p class="MsoNormal">Spheros Environmental is seeking a <strong>Staff Hydrogeologist / Engineer II - III</strong> to join our growing team of hydrogeologists and engineers working to develop and manage groundwater supplies within Texas and Oklahoma. The position will primarily focus on quantitative analysis and numerical modeling of groundwater, but will also include opportunities for well design, siting, and oversight and field investigations associated with groundwater level and quality monitoring.</p>

Develop or assist in developing conceptual and numerical groundwater models. Write codes or use software tools to analyze the outputs of groundwater models. Prepare or assist in the preparation of reports and technical presentations to communicate findings to clients.</li><li class="MsoNormal"><strong>Sampling & Analysis:</strong> Coordinate field sampling, ensure the safe collection of groundwater, surface water, and soil samples, and collaborate with laboratories. Collect pump test data and evaluate using analytical methods and software. Review geophysical logs and other geological data to assist with well design.</li><li class="MsoNormal"><strong>Field Project Support:</strong> Oversee drilling contractors, manage project deadlines, and prepare regular status updates. Ensure that all tasks are completed in accordance with company Health and Safety Plans. Coordinate with subcontractors, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and meet deliverables.</li></ul>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>

Bachelor’s degree with at least two years’ prior experience; or master’s or doctoral degree.</li><li class="MsoNormal"><strong>Licensure/Certification:</strong> Valid driver’s license. Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) certification, or the ability to obtain certification preferred. Applicants at the EIT/GIT will be considered at the Hydrogeologist / Engineer II – III level, while those with PE/PG credentials will be considered at the Hydrogeologist / Engineer III – V level.</li><li class="MsoNormal"><strong>Technical Skills:</strong> Strong computer skills and experience with computer programming or numerical modeling. Proficiency in some combination of the following tools is expected: Excel, ArcGIS Pro/QGIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Python, MODFLOW, Groundwater Vistas, FloPy and/or other relevant computer software.</li></ul>
