Responsibilities:

<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Originates, writes, tests, updates and documents, projects supporting the weather system software.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">coordinating, drafting, reviewing, and editing technical reports/drawings for approval.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Provide support for Modernization and Enhancement of systems as requested by the government.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Will perform market research, and evaluate needs for updating end of life hardware</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Identify needs and drive the development and implementation of major processes.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Provide support utilizing languages such as C, C++, and Python</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Support ongoing lab activities, including but not limited to maintenance and software development for lab hardware.</li>

Requirements:
US Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. All applicants must have resided in the United States for the past 3 years.

On-site presence will be as required by the FAA

<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Must demonstrate initiative with minimal oversight</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Experience working in a team environment</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Experience authoring technical documentation and providing technical support</li>

<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Must be willing to work full time during the summer, and continue part-time during the school semester.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Must be local to the OKC area.&nbsp; Will need to have the ability to interface with hardware when needed.</li>

Education/Experience:

<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Pursuing a B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Knowledge and understanding of the importance of testing during all phases of the software development process</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Proficiency with computer operating systems, software and hardware with proven ability to debug complex systems and to conduct reviews, audits, and testing.</li>
<li style="margin-top: 0in; margin-right: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Working knowledge of UNIX and UNIX-like Operating Systems (AIX, Linux)</li>
