<p><strong>Summary</strong></p>
<p>The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating, and managing engineering activities for multiple construction projects. This role provides technical expertise and project oversight, ensuring that all administrative and engineering aspects align with project goals. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, the Project Engineer plays a critical role in optimizing processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining alignment between project plans and on-site execution. This position supports multiple concurrent projects while gradually taking on leadership responsibilities, with the potential for career advancement into a management role.<br /><br /><strong>Essential Duties And Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Generate work plans, project schedules, submittal data, CAD drawings, etc.</li>
<li>Track project quantities and generate project billing. Assist field personnel, Project Superintendents, Foreman, and Crews to coordinate work effectively and resolve problems.</li>
<li>Participate in and support up to 10 concurrent projects.</li>
<li>Provide regular updates to clients on project status, timelines, and key developments.</li>
<li>Develop, implement, and optimize processes to improve efficiency and productivity.</li>
<li>Work closely with field employees to ensure alignment between project plans and on-site execution.</li>
<li>Assist in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.</li>
<li>Coordinate material procurement, supplier relationships, and quality control efforts.</li>
<li>Analyze data and generate reports to support informed decision-making.</li>
<li>Gradually take on more leadership responsibilities with the potential to transition into a management role.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Requirements</strong></p>

<li>Must live near or be willing to relocate to the Denver Metro area.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.</li>
<li>Experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.</li>
<li>Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving responsibilities.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time-management skills.</li>

<p><strong>Education And Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.</li>
<li>Experience with advanced reporting and analytics tools (Power BI, SQL, Python, etc.) is a plus.</li>
<li>Previous leadership or mentorship experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Experience with mass earthwork or foundation projects is a plus.</li>
</ul>

<p>Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.  </p>

<p>The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently <strong>$93,000-$127,500</strong>. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
