	<li>Ability to safely carry tools, equipment, and materials aboard ship, including ascending and descending shipboard ladders(stairwells) and navigating confined spaces while maintaining required points of contact. Tools and equipment will weigh no more than 50 lbs.</li>
	<li>Ability to perform required work aboard Navy vessels and in shipboard environments, including navigating narrow passageways, ascending, and descending ladders (stairwells), working on elevated platforms, and operating in variable sea conditions.</li>

MxV Rail’s Software Services team assists the railroad industry by developing software used by MxV Rail and external companies serving the railroad industry. From the ground under the track to train communications, MxV Rail provides tools that combine engineering expertise with modern developing techniques to keep trains moving across North America. Primary Duties:
The Software Developer I is responsible for developing and maintaining software for internal and external customers as directed by the Resource Manager, using software engineering, data analysis, programming languages, database management/querying, and object-oriented programming. Participate in all phases of projects by gathering preliminary data, estimating workloads and schedules, participating in progress meetings, and communicating with the customer.

 Predictive Maintenance Specialist
This role can be located in any of our Cement Plants: Ravena, NY; Portland, CO; Midtholian, TX; Ada, OK; Theodore, AL; Bloomsdale, MO; Hagerstown, MD; Paulding, OH or Chicago, IL (Corporate Office).
 
ABOUT THE ROLE
This position will serve as a lead in the deployment of technologies that realize a new era of maintenance. This position will leverage advanced technologies and data analytics to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and effectiveness of maintenance operations by developing and implementing digital tools and platforms and analyzing maintenance data to drive continuous improvement and support predictive maintenance strategies.
 
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
<ul>
<li>Implement digital tools to optimize maintenance processes.</li>
<li>Ensure that the latest and most effective condition monitoring practices are fully integrated in the NA preventive, predictive, and prescriptive maintenance strategy.</li>
<li>Support the integration of predictive maintenance strategies using data analytics.</li>
<li>Consciously strive to improve our IoT (Internet of Things) plant landscapes by finding better and more cost-effective technologies and suppliers.</li>
<li>Monitor and refine digital maintenance systems concepts to ensure they meet evolving business needs.</li>
<li>Shape new opportunities supported by business cases, identify their potential impact on maintenance, and translate them into digital solutions.</li>
<li>Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Provide training and support to maintenance teams on new digital tools and processes.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
 
Education:  Bachelor's degree or 15 years of equivalent experience
 
Additional Education Preferred:  Master's degree
 
Field of Study Preferred:  Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial engineer
                                                                                                            
Required Work Experience: 
<ul>
<li>10 years of Maintenance experience in planning big repairs and work orders, notification BOM, etc. creation. Inventory management in heavy industry or cement. Experience with deployments and appropriation of new technologies in cement plant</li>
</ul>
 
Required Technical Skills:  Python and other open-source programming or similar tools.  
 
Travel Requirements:  20%
 
Additional Requirements:

<li>RCA skills for detection of mechanical or electrical failures in heavy industry machines</li>
<li>SAP PM – Maintenance transactions (work order creation, notifications, BOM, inventory management)</li>
<li>Maintenance scheduler &amp; planning</li>
<li>Knowhow in maintenance inspections in heavy industry</li>
<li>SAP transaction and experience in data extraction</li>
<li>Maintenance performance reporting and cost calculations</li>
<li>Vibration analysis certification (min CAT 2, preferred CAT 3)</li>
<li>Oil analysis knowledge</li>
</ul>
