This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across teams and contribute to innovative solutions that power smarter communities.</h2><h2></h2><h2><br /> </h2><h2><b>Duties and Responsibilities</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Collaborate with system engineers and product teams to understand feature requirements and improve test coverage for new products.</h2></li><li><h2>Collaborate in designing, developing, and executing manual and automated test cases.</h2></li><li><h2>Represent the System Test team in cross-functional meetings, clearly communicating test status, risks, and progress.</h2></li><li><h2>Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.</h2></li><li><h2>Mentor and support less experienced System Test Engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.</h2></li><li><h2>Evaluate and enhance testing processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.</h2></li><li><h2>Coordinate maintenance and upgrades of the test lab environment, including application installs and network setup.</h2></li><li><h2>Support lab setup and maintenance to ensure reliable testing environments.</h2></li><li><h2>Contribute to feature development discussions to ensure clarity and quality from the start.<br /> </h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>Required Skills &amp; Experience</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience in software systems and integration testing of hardware and software.</h2></li><li><h2>3-5&#43; years of experience in software and hardware testing, including manual and automated testing.</h2></li><li><h2>Proficiency with Linux and Windows server systems and network protocols.</h2></li><li><h2>Strong skills in test planning, test case creation, and managing regression testing for complex systems.</h2></li><li><h2>Ability to prioritize, learn quickly, and adapt in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.</h2></li><li><h2>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and shared success.<br /> </h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>Preferred Skills &amp; Experience</b></h2><ul><li><h2>Expertise in system-level testing, including hardware validation (grey box) using software (GUI) and database via TCP/IP network.</h2></li><li><h2>Experience with Linux shell scripting and programming languages such as Python, C#, or Java.</h2></li><li><h2>Familiarity with test automation and execution using Azure DevOps (ADS) based automation test suites.</h2></li><li><h2>Experience with electric, gas, or water utility meters.</h2></li><li><h2>Knowledge of RF usage and testing.<br /> </h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>Physical Demands:</b></h2><h2>Applicants must be able to lift and carry electrical test equipment weighing less than 20 pounds for short distances.
