NDE (Non-Destructive Evaluation) Engineers ensure the structural integrity and reliability of Starship's primary structure, components, propulsion systems, and subassemblies through innovative inspection technologies. RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Develop and deliver advanced nondestructive evaluation inspection solutions</li>
<li>Design, prototype, and implement nondestructive sensor systems to solve manufacturing quality problems</li>
<li>Interface with vehicle engineering across all programs to align on inspection requirements and capabilities, feasibility, designing parts for inspectability, inspection method selection, interpretation, and evaluation of data</li>

At SpaceX, our commitment to reliability begins with design but is realized through exhaustive testing and high future launch cadence at our Starbase, TX facility. In order to thoroughly vet hardware and ensure vehicle quality, the launch operations team pushes our hardware to its limits in as close to flight-like conditions as possible, and then sends it to orbit! Launch operations engineers are ultimately responsible for the entire operational process. They develop test requirements, develop launch plans, integrate the on-pad flight/test articles, perform on-console operation of the entire launch system, conduct tests, analyze data to confirm performance and inform the vehicle and ground design/production process, and are the primary flight controllers for launch events.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Software Engineer on the Starship Continuous Integration team, you will own the tools that power Starship software development.
