Position Overview:
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing frontend and backend software for a complex web application Translating software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks.
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Managing the complete software development process from conception to deployment</li>
<li>Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment</li>
<li>Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications</li>
<li>Overseeing and guiding the analyzing, writing, building, and deployment of software</li>
<li>Overseeing the automated testing and providing feedback to management during the development process</li>
<li>Modifying and testing changes to previously developed programs</li>
</ul>
Basic Qualifications:
<ul>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">Bachelor’s in computer science or related field</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">At least 3 years of Java, C#, or Python</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">At least 1 year of Javascript or Typescript experience</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">Experience with the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality, scalable, and secure software applications using Java and modern frameworks such as Spring Boot or Quarkus</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">Understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">Ability to write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">Experience in the development of unit, integration, and system tests to ensure software quality</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">Experiencing in the development of microservices and RESTful APIs</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">Knowledge of how to work in an Agile/Scrum development environment, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">
Experience with a modern cloud provider such as AWS or Azure as well as understanding of standalone Kubernetes deployments
</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">
Experience with modern front-end development using React or Angular as well as a corollary understanding of JavaScript or Typescript
</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">
Experience with Source Control tools (e.g. Git, Gitlab)
</li>
<li style="vertical-align: middle;">
Experience with DevSecOps and Agile Scrum software development methodology including using tools like Git, Jira and Confluence
</li>
</ul>
Pay Range:  $105,000 - $185,000 
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Location: Aurora, CO
This position is based out of ARKA’s nature abundant Aurora, CO campus. Being situated at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, Aurora provides opportunities to enjoy all the beautiful nature that Colorado has to offer, while also being a 20-minute drive from downtown Denver and 15-minutes to the Denver International Airport.
