 Contributes to the overall success of the Canadian Banking Engineering – Global Operations Technology – Operations and Corporate Services team ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  This role is responsible for design, development and support of various applications in GOT Development Services. Technologies include Microsoft SQL/.NET applications and newer Cloud based technologies. This role will be also tasked with involvement in IT projects to replace legacy applications with modern technology solutions.

<li>Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. </li>
<li>Participate in gathering requirements and analysis </li>
<li>Develop code, test, deploy and maintain scalable applications to ensure strong functionality and optimization using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).  </li>
<li>Develop documentation (including TDD &amp; SDD) throughout the SDLC including Flow diagrams. </li>
<li>Identify existing Production applications bottleneck/legacy apps to improve performance  </li>
<li>Clear and regular communication with management and technical support colleagues. </li>
<li>Collaborate with internal Bank teams to provide high quality software design and architecture </li>
<li>Conduct and provide IST, UAT and production application support to complex technical problems on assigned applications that serve the business units including problem analysis, developing solutions and new procedures as necessary </li>
<li>Adapt, Learn and Serve as an expert (SME) on applications to provide technical support. </li>
<li>Be primary point of contact for Level 1 and Level 2 issues to resolution i.e. required to be on call on a rotation basis with other team members (2 weeks duration at a time) </li>

<li>BSc/BA or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field </li>
<li>5 Years Hands on Experience of .NET languages (C#, VB .NET), JAVA, Python, SQL and MS Power Platform </li>
<li>2-3 Experience in JQuery, Angular JS, Entity Framework </li>
<li>Experience in migrating On-prem applications to GCP, Kubernetes (Azure/Google) </li>
<li>2 years’ experience with GitHub Copilot or AI code deployments an asset </li>
<li>Knowledge of Data Bricks or other similar Data analytics platforms will be helpful. </li>
<li>Experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure Devops  </li>
<li>Knowledge of major RDBMS systems: Preferably SQL Server (3 years +) / Oracle and familiarity with SSRS and SSIS </li>

 <li>Develop and be leader in digital and consulting skill sets which Arcadis is using pervasively for client programs – like customer experience (CX), design thinking, diagnostic/predictive analytics to stay at the forefront of relevant and innovative approaches as a consultant</li>
 <li>Analysis of high-quality data and insights through use of modern business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau</li>
</ul>
Qualifications &amp; Experience:
<ul>
 <li>Bachelor’s degree and experience in any of the branches of Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, IT related field or Engineering.</li>
 <li>Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience. (7+ years of experience in full lifecycle of software development projects)&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Demonstrated proficiency with the full lifecycle of software development from concept, to design, through development, and ultimately to deployment of a sustainable digital solution.</li>
 <li>Proficiency in programming languages and automation platforms such as Python, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform.</li>
 <li>Experience implementing system integration solutions which are file- or API-based and using python or low-code tools such as power automate.</li>
 <li>Experience using software development tools such as VS Code, GitHub, Azure DevOps or equivalents such as Jira and Eclipse preferred.</li>
 <li>Experience with enterprise data management, business intelligence, data pipelines, or data analytics preferred.</li>
 <li>Experience with consumption of web services including SOAP APIs and modern ODATA Restful APIs; experience with Postman and similar tools used to test APIs preferred.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;
<ul>
 <li>Familiarity with cloud technology stacks such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, or other. Experience with application containerization, deployment, and orchestration across environments.&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Experience with tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.</li>
 <li>Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Azure Cloud Platform (e.g. Power Platform tools, Azure SQL Database or Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory).&nbsp;</li>
 <li>Experience developing solutions that incorporate AI tools such as machine learning or LLM models.</li>
