If you’re enthusiastic about supporting teams, optimizing workflows, and learning how to make complex systems reliable and repeatable, this internship is a great opportunity for you.Role SummaryAs a DevOps Intern, you will help accelerate delivery for our software and embedded firmware teams by:About your role<ul><li>Assist in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for software and firmware projects.</li><li>Support automated builds, tests, and artifact storage.</li><li>Work with firmware engineers to implement software development best practices, including branching strategies and pull request automation.</li><li>Help operate and secure self-hosted runners for specialized toolchains.</li><li>Support maintenance of C/C&#43;&#43; and Python IDEs and toolchains (e.g., VS Code, MCUXpresso, IAR, arm-gcc) and help create reproducible environments.</li><li>Document and assist in preserving legacy build systems and planning incremental upgrades.</li><li>Participate in integrating quality gates, static analysis, and coverage reporting.</li><li>Contribute to onboarding guides and developer enablement support.</li><li>Collaborate on test automation efforts for development and production support.</li><li>Utilize support tools (e.g., Jira, GitHub, Azure Databases) to help manage workflows, track issues, and support deployment infrastructure.</li></ul>About You:<ul><li>Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Practical experience (such as projects, coursework, or previous internships) in DevOps or build/release automation.</li><li>Familiarity with GitHub CI/CD pipelines or similar tools.</li><li>Strong scripting skills in Python, Powershell, .bat, or Bash.</li><li>Understanding of C/C&#43;&#43; build systems (CMake, Make) and artifact management.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience maintaining developer IDEs/toolchains and managing version compatibility for embedded firmware environments.</li><li>Embedded/firmware CI experience (cross-compilers, arm-none-eabi).</li><li>Familiarity with artifact management and versioning strategies.</li><li>Exposure to hardware-in-the-loop test orchestration.</li><li>Experience with regression and production test systems.</li><li>Familiarity with Jira issue tracking management.</li><li>Knowledge of environment reproducibility and containerization (e.g., Docker).</li></ul>The salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
