This role focuses on designing scalable validation strategies, expanding automation capabilities, and ensuring our testing reflects real-world customer deployments. </p><p>This role is critical to ensuring SSR delivers reliable performance at scale in customer networks.</p><p>The Quality Architect partners closely with development architects, product management, and testing teams to ensure quality is built into the product architecture from design through release. This role plays a key part in validating system performance, scalability, and interoperability across diverse network environments. </p><p>This position guides the evolution of our testing infrastructure and methodologies across performance testing, longevity testing, solutions testing, and large-scale network deployments. </p><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p><u>Quality Architecture &amp; Strategy </u></p><p>·         Define and evolve the overall quality architecture and validation strategy for the SSR networking platform. </p><p>·         Ensure testing approaches reflect real-world customer deployments, traffic patterns, and scale scenarios. </p><p>·         Identify gaps in test coverage and guide teams in developing improved validation methodologies. </p><p><u>Automation &amp; Test Infrastructure </u></p><p>·         Architect and improve automated testing frameworks and test harnesses. </p><p>·         Expand automated testing coverage across performance, scale, longevity, and interoperability testing. </p><p>·         Design automation approaches that simulate long-running environments and production workloads.</p><p><u>Performance, Scale, and System Validation </u></p><p>·         Lead initiatives to validate system scalability, throughput, and reliability across hardware and virtualized environments. </p><p>·         Define methodologies for performance benchmarking and longevity testing. </p><p>·         Evaluate product behavior under realistic traffic loads and deployment scenarios. </p><p>·         Drive validation readiness and quality criteria for major releases.</p><p><u>Cross-Team Technical Leadership </u></p><p>·         Serve as the technical quality leader for major feature initiatives. </p><p>·         Collaborate with development architects and engineering teams to ensure quality and testability are considered during system design. </p><p>·         Provide technical guidance and mentorship to test engineers and automation developers. </p><p>·         Influence technical direction without direct authority across multiple teams.</p><p><u>Interoperability and Ecosystem Validation </u></p><p>·         Define testing strategies to ensure protocol interoperability and integration with external networking platforms. </p><p>·         Coordinate testing with third-party tools, traffic generators, and industry test platforms. </p><p><u>Quality Insights &amp; Continuous Improvemen</u><b>t</b> </p><p>·         Analyze defect trends, performance data, and test results to identify systemic quality improvements. </p><p>·         Drive improvements to testing infrastructure, automation efficiency, and validation processes. </p><p> ·         6&#43; years of experience in networking software development, testing, or system validation and with the below technologies unless otherwise noted.  </p><p>·         Experience owning or leading test strategy for a product or major feature area, including defining coverage, methodologies, and release criteria</p><p>·         Experience designing and executing performance, scale, or longevity testing for large or distributed systems, including identifying bottlenecks and validating system behavior under load</p><p>·         Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, WAN architectures), demonstrated through hands-on development, testing, or troubleshooting of networked systems</p><p>·        4&#43;
