About your Team:
On the Transactional Surveillance Technology team you will be testing infrastructure you build will be critical to maintaining the team's velocity and reliability in detecting market manipulation and financial crimes, directly supporting regulatory compliance and protecting millions of client accounts. &nbsp;What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:&nbsp;
As a Software Development Engineer in Test and help protect market integrity at massive scale. You'll build and maintain the automated testing infrastructure that ensures reliability across systems processing 1+ billion order events daily—work that directly impacts the fairness and security of financial markets.

<li>Build scalable testing frameworks that enable our team to deploy confidently and maintain high system reliability</li>
<li>Design comprehensive test suites covering unit, integration, and acceptance testing that catch issues before they reach production</li>
<li>Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to embed quality practices throughout the development lifecycle</li>
<li>Provide metrics and reporting on test coverage, quality trends, and system reliability</li>
<li>Build and maintain monitoring and alerting systems for test infrastructure</li>
<li>Develop data quality checks to ensure integrity across pipelines and databases</li>
<li>Investigate and triage test failures, working with development teams to identify root causes and implement fixes</li>

&nbsp;What required skill’s you need:

<li>3+ years of software engineering experience with strong coding skills (Python required)</li>

The salary range for this role is expected to be $175,000 to $200,000.&nbsp; This is the range that we in good faith believe is accurate for this role at the time of this posting.&nbsp; We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, depending upon factors such as skills, experience, location, or other business and organizational needs.&nbsp; This wage range may also be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
