ESN is seeking a Software Engineer II - Python Developer to support a contract with Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), Atlantic, in Norfolk, VA. The contract to support NIWC LANT consists of Independent Validation &amp; Verification, Operations, Sustainment, and Installation support. The Maintenance Figure of Merit (MFOM) systems provide near real-time material-based readiness reporting to the Defense Readiness Reporting System-Navy (DRRS-N) and provides three additional primary capabilities to the Fleet including Ashore and Afloat systems. This support includes Cybersecurity, automated software testing, Scrum Master support, operating in the AWS Cloud, management of JIRA/Confluence, and project support.
 
Position Description:
<ul>
<li>Developing automated software test suites using Python.</li>
<li>Schedule is Monday through Friday with some weekend support required.</li>
<li>Performs other duties and works schedules as assigned by management, which may include changes to duties, responsibilities, or work hours as required to meet contractual obligations, mission requirements, or the needs of the organization.</li>

Minimum Requirements:

<li>Required Education: Bachelor's degree in quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)</li>

Individual shall have experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting and notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting</li>

You will help build the next generation of how our customers interface &amp; apply for financing with Koalafi. <li>Experience in UX from accessibility to user behavior to responsive/adaptive web design</li>
<li>Knowledge of front-end tooling and best practices in areas such as state management, component libraries, and performance optimizations</li>
