Candidates must have a strong foundation in aerodynamics and flight mechanics, including stability and control, aerodynamic model development, flight simulation, computation fluid dynamics (CFD), and/or relevant wind tunnel testing. Experience with aircraft design and aerodynamic/performance analyses across the speed range from subsonic to hypersonic, is highly desired.

As an Aerodynamics Engineer, you will contribute to a small hypersonic advanced design team, designing current and future Stratolaunch hypersonic vehicles. Together with our customers, we drive innovations that are imperative to advancing national security.</div>To help achieve these efforts, Stratolaunch is seeking a Sr- or Staff-level Avionics Engineer to lead an air-launched hypersonic vehicle avionics team through continued design, integration, and testing.&nbsp; You will be considered a subject matter expert and provide technical leadership and mentorship to a group of avionics engineers. This position will include coordination, planning, scheduling, and testing of a broad range of avionics components.&nbsp; Candidates must have an aerospace development background and relevant experience in aerospace systems integration.

Together with our customers, we drive innovations that are imperative to advancing national security.</div>To help achieve these efforts, Stratolaunch is seeking a level II or Sr-level Avionics Engineer to support design, integration, testing, and maintenance of hypersonic aircraft avionics systems.&nbsp; This role will have a focus in Telemetry (TM).&nbsp; This position will include collaborating with other system owners to understand test requirements and operations support needs for multiple test ranges.&nbsp;
<h1>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES</h1>
<ul>
<li>Contribute to instrumentation, network, &amp; telemetry (data) system requirements development, architecture design, testing, &amp; operation for local and extended range missions.</li>
<li>Support flight operations by ensuring data system assets are prepared for flight test.</li>
<li>Support the selection of and harness design for new sensors, data acquisition units, computers, network switches, and other equipment.</li>
<li>Manage and configure the aircraft instrumentation system to provide real time data for mission monitoring as well as logged data for post-flight analysis</li>
<li>Support the development and maintenance of software tools as required, including configuration management, simulation, deployment, and analysis tools.</li>
<li>Determine, document, and manage subsystem requirements for each new configuration</li>
<li>Develop and support instrumentation, network, &amp; telemetry tests as required.</li>
<li>Support integration testing such as power checks, sensor calibration, and equipment checkout</li>
<li>Collaborate with design engineers, network engineers, and technicians as required to accomplish goals.</li>
<li>Prepare data system material to present at design reviews and flight readiness reviews and in post operation reviews.</li>
