Working from OSI’s Medina, Minnesota campus, and from company and customer sites as required, the successful applicant will contribute to project delivery excellence in support of utility customers in the energy generation transmission and distribution industries.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><b>Your Impact</b></h2><ul><li>Design, plan, integrate, test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems.</li><li>Provide technical sales support of state-of-the-art power systems applications for real-time control systems, including sales presentations and product demonstrations.</li><li>Evaluate contract specifications and define project requirements through customer communication and communicate the requirements to other departments as necessary.</li><li>Provide system and application design.</li><li>Perform hardware, software and system installation, integration, and testing for projects.</li><li>Customize system, hardware and network configuration based on customer requirements.</li><li>Provide customer support and assistance per contract maintenance and warranty.</li><li>Assist in creating training materials and project documentation as needed.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2>What You'll Need</h2><ul><li>Bachelors degree, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering or related field.</li><li>Minimum of 8 years of experience in power systems, electric utility operations or project engineering.</li><li>Ability to travel up to 20%</li><li>Systems/software experience in the following is preferred:</li><li> power systems, electric utility operations/dispatch, real-time control systems, client/server applications, network communications</li><li>UNIX / Linux / Windows operating systems</li><li>software programming and scripting (Python, C / C&#43;&#43;)</li><li>Databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Mongo, Cassandra)</li><li>JSON and/or XML</li><li>Experience with common utility protocols (ICCP, DNP, MultiSpeak) preferred</li><li>Experience with OSI monarch control systems</li><li>Excellent organization, interpersonal and leadership skills; strong commitment to providing superior customer service; ability to work on several projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><span>#LI-AD1</span></p>
