Projects include developing custom features in supported applications to create integrations between various software platforms to ensure consistent user experience.&nbsp; DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;1. Partner with stakeholders across the project life cycle to recommend and develop scalable application and integration solutions, combining technical expertise with innovative thinking, including the purposeful use of AI tools to enhance solution design and delivery.2. Author Technical Designs (TDs) that define how functional requirements will be technically enabled, including API design, data flows, and system integrations.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;3. Develop &nbsp;&nbsp;Unit Test Plans to verify programs, meet standards and policies and promote &nbsp;&nbsp;best practices in testing and code quality across the team.&nbsp;4. Develop &nbsp;&nbsp;and unit test application programs as specified in Technical Designs, &nbsp;&nbsp;ensuring adherence to programming standards and policies, including &nbsp;&nbsp;integration components such as APIs, services, and data transformations, &nbsp;&nbsp;utilizing AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency and code &nbsp;&nbsp;quality.&nbsp;&nbsp;5. Provide &nbsp;&nbsp;production support by troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and &nbsp;&nbsp;developing and testing fixes with a focus on long-term stability and &nbsp;&nbsp;maintainability, applying AI-assisted diagnostics where relevant.6. Effectively &nbsp;&nbsp;prioritize work assignments, exercise considerable independent judgment, and &nbsp;&nbsp;operate with minimal supervision.7. Performs &nbsp;&nbsp;other duties as assigned by the Lead, Application Development. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:· Bachelor's degree: Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.&nbsp;· At least two years of experience designing and developing applications using object-oriented languages such as Java or C# (.NET) and SQL for relational databases.&nbsp;· Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar) and a willingness to adopt and promote responsible use in the development workflow.&nbsp;· Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across technical and non-technical audiences.&nbsp;· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and productivity. PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:1. Experience with one or more of the following technologies: SSIS, Java, Web Services, SOAP, HTML, or XML.&nbsp;2. Experience with web services and API technologies, including RESTful and/or SOAP-based integrations.&nbsp;3. Experience with web application development, including user interface design, information architecture, and visual design sufficient to build and support applications that align with user requirements and internal standards.&nbsp;4. Experience developing solutions within the Blackbaud CRM SDK and/or Hyland OnBase ECM.&nbsp;5. OnBase Certified Application Programming Interface (API) Professional certification.&nbsp;6. Experience applying AI tools to development workflows, including code generation, automated testing, or AI-assisted integration design.&nbsp;7. Experience working in higher education or at the University of Illinois.
