What You Will Do<ul><li>Lead the technical design and development of new and existing features for the Imaging team.</li><li>Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript and Typescript, ideally following Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices and clean architecture principles.</li><li>Apply expert-level understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, refactoring, and design patterns to ensure code quality and long-term maintainability. </li><li>Contribute to and help shape the overall system architecture, focusing on performance optimization, scalability, and reliability under high usage.</li><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and integrity of the Imaging platform.</li><li>Actively mentor and model best practices for junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and engineering excellence.</li><li>Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.</li><li>Stay current with JavaScript and related technologies, advocating for the adoption of modern tools and practices that enhance team performance and product quality.</li></ul> Technologies We Use<ul><li>Languages:&#160;JavaScript, Typescript, C#</li><li>Libraries and Frameworks:&#160;Backbone, jQuery, Underscore.js</li><li>Database:&#160;SQL Server and Postgres</li><li>Cloud:&#160;AWS or other platforms</li><li>DevOps &amp; Tools:&#160;GitHub, GitLab and Jira</li><li>REST API Development</li></ul> What You Will Have<ul><li>8+ years of experience building frontend and backend software with JavaScript, Typescript, and C# with significant hands-on experience in developing enterprise-level applications.</li><li>Prior experience as tech lead is preferred</li><li>Experience creating and working with modern architectural patterns</li><li>Understanding of domain driven design</li><li>Experience working in an agile environment with Scrum or Kanban</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Demonstrated success in mentoring or providing technical leadership to other engineers</li><li>Passion for building great software and driving team success</li><li>Effectively estimate engineering work with tight timelines and shifting priorities</li></ul> Nice to Haves<ul><li>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field</li><li>Experience in unit testing, integration, and end-to-end testing</li><li>Experience in the healthcare domains</li></ul> The posted range for this position is&#160;$140,000 - $165,000&#160;which is the expected starting salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
