This role will include process development, new tool introductions, and supporting the transition of ideas from concept to high volume manufacturing while coordinating with a wide range of cross functional groups.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;line-height: 115.0%;font-family: helvetica;"><span style="color: rgb(51,51,51);font-family: helvetica;font-size: 16.0px;font-style: normal;font-weight: 400;letter-spacing: normal;text-indent: 0.0px;text-transform: none;word-spacing: 0.0px;">This position is anticipated to last approximately 8 months. At the end of this temporary role, the candidate may have further opportunities to continue employment with the company.</span></span></span></p><p style="text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><b>Functions:</b></span></p><ul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Supports the transition of new products from prototype to volume production utilizing DFSS and DFM.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Drives continuous improvement opportunities and maintains yield metrics utilizing wide variety of analytical techniques (such as SPC, DOE, Gauge R&amp;R/MSA)</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Supports manufacturing of released processes and products including generating BoMs and routes, documenting work instructions and support training of personnel.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Evaluates, procures, and qualifies new manufacturing equipment and materials.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Collaborates with the daily activities of engineering technicians.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Solves complex technical problems in a timely manner such that schedules (production or development) are maintained.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Develops a consensus among all appropriate groups before implementing new procedures.</span></li></ul><div><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><b>Qualifications:</b></span></div><ul style="margin-top: 0.0px;"><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">BS or higher degree in Engineering (Physics, Material, Optical, Electrical, Chemical and Mechanical) and exceptional industrial experience in closely related technologies.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Recent experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication. May include educational experience involving hands-on/lab work.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Experience working with wet chemistry and associated safety procedures</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Familiarity with semiconductor device physics, thin film processes and materials science.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Technical understanding of semiconductor wafer fabrication processes, material interactions, micron-scale surface chemistry, dominant failure mechanisms and analytical techniques.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Demonstrated ability to do failure and root cause analysis and find effective solutions.</span></li><li style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;"><span style="font-family: helvetica;font-size: 12.0pt;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills allowing for effective communication in cross functional &amp;
